Now, on with the story!

Gabe and I finally reached chemistry.  By the look on Mrs. Coe's face, she didn't like people being late.

"You're late,"  she barked.  "Where have the two of you been?  Class started nearly ten minutes ago and it's only the first day of school."

"Well,"  Gabe started.  "I was getting a last minute schedule change and on my way here, I ran into Logan, who's new here and had gotten lost."  I smiled, trying to help him out a little.

She just grunted and pointed to the last two empty seats.  "Everyone else has already picked their lab partners for the semester.  And because the two of you were so late, you will be lab partners for the rest of the semester."  I just shrugged my shoulders and Gabe and I went to our table in the back of the classroom.

After that, I went to Spanish 3, with Gabe.  Algebra 2, with Gabe.  Art, with Gabe.  And, you guessed it, lunch. . . .with Gabe.

"Oh my gosh!  Are there any classes we don't have together?"  I asked Gabe as we went to find his friends to sit with.

"Hey,"  he said with a fake hurt look on his face.  "All those classes can't be to bad with me.  Right?"  As he said this, a puppy-dog look appeared on his face.

"Oh,"  I feigned dramatically,  "You know I can't stand the sight of you.  Now be gone horrible creature."  I put my hand over my eyes to add to the sarcastic drama.  When I pulled my hand away, I was surprised that he was actually gone.  "Gabe?"  I I asked hesitantly into the open air around me.

"BOO!"  he yelled coming from behind me.  I screamed and nearly dropped my lunch I was so scared.  It seemed like the entire cafeteria had stopped what they were doing and were staring at as.  I could feel my face turning red from the embarrassment I was feeling.  Gabe's face was also turning red, but that was only because he was laughing so hard.  I couldn't contain the laughter I was trying to bite back any longer and soon I was laughing almost as hard as Gabe was at my girlie screech.  Everyone else just turned back to what they were doing.

After we had finally calmed down enough, Gabe led to to a table where, the people I presumed were his friends, were trying to contain their own laughter at the scene we had just caused.

"Hey guys,"  Gabe started.  When they just continued to stare, he cleared his throat and continued.  "So, guys, this is Logan.  Logan this is Sophie, Aaron, Mason, and, my twin sister, Brooklyn."

Sophie, who had long, dark brown hair, was the first one to say something.  "OhMyGosh!  Are you new here?  Where do you live?  What grade are you in?  What's your favorite color?"  She was talking a mile a minute.  I'm sure she could've asked more, but the boy next to her, Aaron, put his hand over her mouth to make her stop.  He had short blond hair and blue eyes.

"Sorry about her.  When she meets someone new she just can't seem to stop asking questions."  he explained.

"No problem."  I replied.  "And to answer your questions, yes, with the Lansings, I'm a junior, and blue."

Shock was clear on Sophie and Brooklyn's faces.  "You're the girl who moved in with the Lansings!  You're SO lucky!"  Brooklyn exclaimed at me causing the few table around us to turn and look.  She had blond hair and silver eyes.  If you didn't know them, you wouldn't think her and Gabe were twins.
