A/N:  This is part two of the double upload, so don't forget to read chapter 8 first!

Time had started to go by in a blur.  Since I now had a car of my own, Gabe and I decided to alternate who would drive to school in the mornings.  I was also spending a lot of time with Brooklyn and Sophie who where soon becoming two of the best friends I had ever had.

Life at the Lansing's house was easy going and if I wasn't in my room or hanging out with other friends, I was spending time with Austin.  It was like he was my older brother and I liked it a lot.

Gabe and I had also been spending a lot of time together.  We hung out at school, after school, and even on the weekends.

The tie was passing so fast and before I knew it, a month had passed.  It was February.  To be more exact, it was Valentine's Day

"Hey, Lego,"  Gabe said as he walked up the drive way to the Lansing's garage.  It was my turn to drive that day.  "Happy Valentine's Day!"  he said with a smile on his face.

"Happy Valentine's Day to you, too.  Why are you so happy?  Do you have a special Valentine for today?"  I asked.

"Only you, Lego."  he said jokingly.  Over the past month, many people had made jokes about how we should just date already.

"Do you think that you, Sophie, Brooklyn, Aaron, and Mason would want to come over tonight?  I kind of have this tradition that my mom I used to do.  We would try to find the worst romantic movie ever and we would watch it on Valentine's Day."

"I'll ask the others, but I'm game."

We got in the car and I drove to school while Gabe tried to find a station that wasn't playing love songs.  No such luck.

When we got to school, Gabe went to go ask the others if they wanted to come over tonight.  We were going to have them each bring what they thought was the worst romance film and we would watch it.

As I got closer to my locker, I could see there was a girl leaning on the locker next to mine that looked vaguely familiar from one of my classes.

"You're name's Logan, right?"  she asked.  I nodded.  "I'm Jocelyn, I'm in your Algebra 2 class, and I think this,"  she said, handing me an envelope with my name on it,  "belongs to you.  It was on my locker, 428, but I think it was meant for you."

"Okay, thanks.  Happy Valentine's Day, Jocelyn."

"You too.  See you in Algebra."

I opened the envelope and inside was a Valentine's Day card:

Love is just a word,

Until someone comes along

and gives it meaning.

Happy Valentin'e Day Logan

From, your Secret Admirer

A secret admirer!  I had never had something like this happen to me before!  Every other Valentine's Day had always been like a normal day.  Finally something to make it special.

Gabe's P.O.V.

February 13th

'Come on Gabe.  You can do this!  You've asked a girl out before.  What makes this time any different?'  I was giving myself a mental pep talk.  But even I as said the words in my head, I knew they weren't true, that this was different.  I had never had these kind of feelings for before.  As I saw her walk out of her classroom, I knew I couldn't do it.  What if she doesn't like me?  That was all that was going through my head.

Time for plan B.

I had a Valentine's Day card in my locker.  Every year, since sixth grade, I had given one to a girl on Valentine's Day that looked sad to try and cheer her up.  This year when I was buying the card, I made sure it was special so it could be my back-up plan.  I raced to my locker before she saw me.  I opened it up, quickly found the card, and wrote a brief note at the bottom before sealing it in the envelope I then wrote her name on.

"Hey, Tom,"  I called to the passing sophomore.  He was on the J.V. basketball team and they practically worshipped the varsity team.  He came over with a stunned look on his face.  "You'retaking ACT Prep in the mornings, right?"

"Yeah, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, why?"

"Great, you're just the man for the job then."  I grabbed him by the shoulder and turned him around so no one would see what we were doing.

"Tomorrow, right when you get to school, I need you to put this on locker 328.  It's very important."

"Okay man, I got this."  he said, taking the card from my hand and putting it into his backpack.

"Thanks."  I said, clapping him on the back before leaving to go find Logan.

A/N:  Ta-da!  Happy (late) Valentine's Day!  There's your double upload.

Now, I want atleast 5 votes for the next chapter.

Thanks, you guys are awesome, please comment and vote and I hope to see you soon!

FYI:  I changed the name of Jason(a.k.a. one of the kids from Logan's English class) to Jackson so it wouldn't get confusing with Jason Lansing, but don't worry, everyone still calls him Jace.
