A a few weeks have passed and you have talked to (f/n) every single day. You called your parents, and they were thankful that you were okay. Tsukiyama took you to spend time with them, and after a day full of hugs and tears, you felt whole again. Your parents loved Tsukiyama. Your relationship with Tsukiyama has grown and changed. He finally seems like a boyfriend by choice, not by circumstance. He lets you walk to the market occasionally, and he takes you out to eat more often. You spend a lot of time together. He reads you poetry, and you play the piano for him. He brings you new flowers every day, each day a different kind. Every night he takes time to spend with only you. You turn on soft music connected to the speakers around the home, and you dance slowly, focusing on only Tsukiyama. He surprises you with small gifts, and unexpected kisses. Life has finally calmed down, and you are happy.
You sit in the seat of his car, excitedly and patiently waiting to arrive in the 20th ward.
"It took him long enough. The dinner is tonight." Tsukiyama says.
"It's okay. I don't mind the wait, as long as he did a good job." You say sweetly while smiling.
Tsukiyama takes your hand and kisses the back of it softly.
"Such a kind creature you are." He says smoothly.
You blush and smile. You lean over and kiss him on the cheek. He smiles a small, but handsome smile, and pulls into a parking space.
"We're here, Mon Chéri." He says.
"I'm excited." You say as you hop out of the car.
You hurriedly cross the street, and walk through the door. You hear the familiar ding of the bell, and see the slender, pale man standing behind the counter.
"Hello, miss (y/n)" Uta says, not looking up from a book he is reading.
"Hello Uta. Good to see you again!" You say with a cheeky smile.
Uta glances up and smiles at you kindly. He stands up and strides over to you. He holds out a box in front of you.
"I hope you like it as much as I do." He says softly.
"The ribbon is a little much." Tsukiyama says with an annoyed tone.
"I think it's nice. Presentation is key." You say while smiling at Uta.
Tsukiyama rolls his eyes and you pull gently on the red ribbon. It slithers off of the black box and falls gracefully into the floor. You take the lid off and look at the item inside. You gently take the mask out and smile widely.
The mask is a half mask, only covering the top half of your face. The mask is the face of a lucky cat. It's happy face and chubby cheeks smile at you as you look at it. Inside the box under the mask is a mall choker, made of the same ribbon that was wrapped around the box. It has a small bell dangling off of it.
Uta nervously looks at you, rubbing his hands together.
"Well?..." He says quietly.
You smile at him and hug him tightly.
"I love it. Thank you so much."
"Well, let's see it my flower." Tsukiyama interjects, clearly irritated.
You turn and slip the mask over your face.
"What will you call yourself?" Tsukiyama asks?
"A fake name? That's so cool." You smile.
"What's yours?" You continue.
"They call me the gourmet."
"Hm. I'll be...I don't know yet." You say happily.
