(D/n) - Dog's Name

October 3rd

If I'm keeping track correctly, I've been here about 3 weeks. It's been 12 days since I've last left the house. I've still had no contact with the outside, but two days ago 2 ghoul investigators came by the property. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but they tried to come in. Tsukiyama didn't let them. I have also noticed a van sitting across the street, not moving. I assume it's full of more investigators. They haven't made a move yet, only observing. I have been spending a lot of time with Tsukiyama. He hasn't mentioned the backpack, but I'm sure he knows. The more time I spend with him, the more my feelings for him grow. He's sweet and caring. I wish the circumstances were different. I miss my family. I miss (f/n). I miss the Orchestra and I miss freedom. The mansion is really big but I still feel trapped. People probably aren't after me anymore. Today I'm going to try and convince Tsukiyama to let me go out. Just to let my family know I'm okay. I'll come right back. I want to freely be with Tsukiyama. Not stuck inside forever. That's all I have to write for today.

You shut the journal and you tie the leather string tightly around it. You tuck it back in its place on the bookshelf, and you look at yourself in the mirror.

Being trapped indoors really takes a toll on you.

Your closet is full of beautiful clothes Tsukiyama has bought for you, and
(d/n) sleeps soundly on your bed. Tsukiyama is out on business for the night. He does this once a month. Leaves somewhere dressed up. He doesn't tell you where he is going or when he will be back. Part of you doesn't want to know.

You leave the room and walk around. Your room is on the east wing, and that's where you typically stay. You walk across the dining hall to the west wing. A maid passes and bows you you before continuing on her way.

You come across two large, white double doors, with gold trim and handles. You carefully grip the handle and push down. You press your fingertips on the door and push it forward. The large door swings open and you smile. A large ball room is in front of you. In the corner is a white piano, and many other instruments. There a large windows with beautiful dark purple curtains.

Those windows must be 15 feet tall!

Your feet glide across the smooth waxed floor, and you spin around gracefully.

I can't believe I've never seen this before.

There's a large portrait of Tsukiyama hanging on rthe wall.

"As handsome as ever." You say with a smile.

You sit on the bench in front of the grand piano and you trace your fingers across the ivory keys. You press the C key. The sound is so beautiful as it echoes and resonates throughout the room. You play an excerpt from Swan Lake. You smile and play some other pieces, and you get lost in your playing.

As you finish you look up and Tsukiyama is standing in front of you. You jump back and take your hands off the keys.

"You play beautifully." He says

"I'm sorry. I was just walking around and I found this room."

He comes over and sits on the bench next to you. He removes his white gloves and he plays a few notes on the keys. He's dressed in a beautiful tuxedo, and he smells sweet. You build up courage and you tap his shoulder.

He stops playing and he faces you.

"Tsukiyama, where do you go?"

"To dinner with friends." He says back.
