Unforgettable Night

Grimmjow could practically feel Sui-Feng's eyes boring into him – he didn't care for it at all. He stood next to Kenpachi right at the end and didn't say much. "What do you say, Captain Jaegerjaquez?" Yamamoto looked over to the new Captain. Grimmjow looked up, all eyes were on him but when he was about to reply they turned their gaze to the doors that now just opened. Grimmjow turned his gaze and shut the small gap between his lips.

Nel's loud voice echoed through the halls and her arms where outspread to Grimmjow, "Captain!" Sui-Feng leaped forward with fright, she came to an abrupt halt when Grimmjow was standing in front of Nel. Nel became quiet and went a deep maroon in the cheeks when she felt all eyes on her and hid behind Grimmjow to shield herself from the eyes of the Captains. "What is the meaning of this?" Sui-Feng glared at Nel harshly. Grimmjow growled at Sui-Feng, "Don't talk to her like that." "I'm sorry..." Nel whimpered shakily.

"Sorry doesn't cut it." Sui-Feng spat. "I'm warning you Sui-Feng, she hasn't done anything to you – she was unaware that she was not allowed to be in here." Grimmjow glared at Sui-Feng, "And you weren't even talking about anything confidential just what theme you want for a stupid ball." With that Grimmjow took Nel by the arm and left with her. Sui-Feng stood in silence with the rest of the hall.

The hall was dismissed and Sui-Feng was confronted by Toshiro, "You know Sui-Feng – you're hatred toward the Espada is becoming a problem. It's personal with you, the rest of us have accepted and you should move on with you sad excuse of a life." Toshiro walked away feeling like he's the king of the world and left Sui-Feng standing in shock at his rude behavior.

Toshiro smirked at his act of bravery and walked triumphantly to his office. "Do I detect a sense of triumph in that strut?" Livi questioned as she leaned on the doorframe of her Captain's office as he walked in. Toshiro clicked and snapped towards her, "I do not strut!" Livi laughed hysterically, "Then what the hell was that?"

"I have successfully told Sui-Feng off." Toshiro said feeling a sense of arrogance in his inflated ego. Livi raised her eyebrows in surprise, "Wow, to be honest I didn't think you'd have the dumplings to do that."

Toshiro raised his attention to her once more, "Excuse me? Oh I've got dumplings – you wanna see them?!"

Livi gave a suggestive look and smirk, "Well, if you insist." Toshiro went a deep red, and suddenly fumed at her, "Stop teasing me!"

"Who said I was teasing?" Livi twirled a piece of hair in her fingers and leaned with her backside against the doorframe. Toshiro became silent and he straightened up and went back to his usual self, "Tonight at seven. Be here." "Is that a date Captain?" Livi grinned successfully as she shifted her weight off the doorframe and onto her left leg and folded her arms.

"You're dismissed Mori." Toshiro said and turned his back on her and moved towards his desk. Livi squealed on the inside and left to go tell Rangiku the news. She was obviously thrilled and demanded she wear a cute dress. Not having a choice in the matter due to Rangiku's insistence she sighed and put on a short dark blue drawstring dress and grey ballet flats.

Naturally she was a little bit nervous, but after spending much time with her Captain over the past few years she quickly blew the butterflies away. That and Rangiku gave her a good pep talk.

When it was nearing seven Rangiku walked Livi halfway to where she needed to be and left her with a smile and a thumbs up. Livi hugged Rangiku and thanked her before they parted ways.

Rangiku was Livi's best friend – she was always there for her and they could do nothing together and still have the best time. They fought, they laughed, and they cried and know everything about one another. They believed in each other when they didn't believe in themselves. They made each other laugh even when they didn't even want to smile.
