Part Two

Hot Springs

Grimmjow had been lying here just thinking for ages, he had sent Ururu off to bed; she had been working all night just like the others and sent her to join the others in dreamland. Without warning, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his shoulders from behind and light breathing in his ear. He was unsure of whom it could have been but he supposed it was Ururu as it felt like they were changing the bandages. Ururu was good at this, she knew exactly when to do what. Grimmjow was silently very pissed at her for not going to bed like he told her too. Even though he hated admitting it, he did care for her. Mae considered Ururu her sister and Jinta her little brother.

He sometimes hated that about Mae, she cared too much for them, even for the Kurosaki sisters. But he would let the Kurosaki sisters slide since Mae was Isshin's Lieutenant in the past. After a new bandage had been put on he felt himself begin to drift off to sleep.

Returning Home

Kisuke and Tessai returned from the Soul Society to find the place quiet; everybody was sleeping so he decided he would carrying on researching to see if he could make any headway with the enemy. Upon sliding open the traditional Japanese doors he was surprised to see somebody else doing research. He noticed it was Mae, even though she had grown taller and her hair was longer and her features more defined – he would never forget his own daughter. Mae turned around almost jumped out of her blue floral patterned kimono when she saw Tessai and Kisuke. She was wearing a pair of white shorts and a white tank top beneath that. She gave her father a hug. Kisuke chuckled and hugged her, "I was wondering when you'd return." "You knew?" Mae asked as she pulled away and looked at them. "You always come back." Tessai commented. Mae sighed, "I guess I do." "What have you come up with?" Kisuke asked as he made his way over to the table with her. "I've just been examining it in case we could find a weakness. I don't know anything more than you do." Mae said, "Haru no ōkami has almost exact abilities to this zanpakuto but for some reason I'm unable to tell you who it is."

"If you're zanpakuto is almost twins to this one, you'll be the only one who will be able to do any fatal damage to this enemy." Tessai said. "I know. So we need to know where he will be attacking next." Mae said seriously. "Yamamoto is the only Captain left. So we suppose he'll be next." Kisuke said fanning himself. "Then that's where I'll be." Mae said.
