Silence is what remained whilst Josh and I stood, motionless.
Pearce had barged through the door and ran into the room in which the white noise had drained our thoughts.
Pearce stood and slowly approached us, our gaze still fixed onto the TV screen, unable to shift as if we were in a trance. The static remained as we stayed silent, our silhouettes were the only thing Pearce could make out in the dim room lit by the TV.
Pearce, weirded out by the scene that he was faced with, he flicked the light switch on, not knowing what he would be faced with.
The lights flickered on allowing light to brighten the room for a split second before the exploding, sparks floating around the room as they bounced on the floor, disappearing as they reached the tips of our shoes.
Pearce was panic-stricken as the sight before him was outlined in the dim room.
I didn't dare move a muscle as the TV continued displaying a series of perplexing images, most of which signified demonic activity or some form of rituals from some sinister cult. My feet grew numb and my fingers twitched as the static deafened my ears.
Pearce's screams were drained through the noise as the noise of his knees dropping to the ground echoed throughout the godforsaken apartment.
Erratic breathing and the sound of my pulsing heart clouded my thoughts as I watched the scene unfold with much struggle. The emergence of a ghastly figure is what caused my hazy mind to blank out completely. Had it not been for the constant ringing of static rising from the TV screen, the entire room would have been drowned in the monstrosity that is the sound of silence, shrouded over with the feeling of isolation.
The figure rose from what appeared to be a portal from the spirit realm, one that had been opened somewhat intentionally during a not-so-innocent game of ouija.
I started finding reasons to blame the situation as the specter continued to rise, inch by inch, out of its ghastly confines of the spirit world.
I searched for something to observe but found nothing but fright, antipathy, and dread.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding for the short period of time and stared dead in the eyes of the other. How would I have loved to know that I was staring straight into the eyes of death.
"Hello, Phil."

Hi ! Long time no see . What a short update for all the time I've been gone uh. Feel free to hate me for leaving you hanging for way too long and coming back with this short piece of trash, OOPS.
I've just celebrated my 17th birthday (On August 20th !) and wow, a lot has happened during the time that I've been gone. Reminder that if you would like to keep up to date and personal with me ( maybe ? ) , I do have a book dedicated for this purpose (Named 'Venting Out') , do check it out if you'd like !
