Seems like every time I get the chance
I lose my cool and I blow it
And I get all tongue tied
Lost in your eyes
I'm a fool and I know it
I should've kissed you
I should've told you
Told you just how I feel
And next time I won't stop
I'll listen to my heart
'Cause what I feel is real
I should've kiss you
I should've told you how I feel
I should've kissed you
I should've showed you just how I feel
Fuck!! A.J. why? Why do you have to be so damn stubborn? Damn Chris Brown got me in my feelings now. She such a beautiful person, inside and out and she's thick ooh gawd. Like I know it's not the type of thing a guy says about A.J. I like her because when I look at her it feels right to be with her. I don't care if she doesn't know my name
"N, baby you need to get out your room boy" my mama said.
"Not now mama-
"Not now my butt. Boy what's this I hear you haven't been to school you and your brother. August!!"
"Yes ma'am" he shouted next door. "Yes"
"Why haven't y'all been in school?" she said sitting on my bed
"Um N said not to go because this girl he likes hates him" he said quietly
"Boy if you don't speak up I will. Y'all think I'ma let some thugs live in my house hell no. if you think that go bury yourselves. Adrian Christopher Michaels, you know I kicked your no-good-for-nothing father out the door with his group of drug people. If you two think I will let street walkers live here, not happening. And you, August Bryan Michaels, know better to follow your brother's footsteps. I'm not going to say it again either, why haven't you been at school?"
"look momma, we are just taking a break we will be going back to school tomorrow I promise and Auggie ain't me following matter fact he's the star of the school for a junior and I'm the lone wolf. So no need to worry"
"whatever you say boy. You can leave Auggie."
"bye" with that he left.
"Adrian, please watch yourself and your brother. I can't have y'all boys running around doing the things me and father wish we could turn back"
"I know momma it's not even like that"
"then what's it about N, you can tell me" she said as she sat down next to me.
Sigh "momma its complicated"
"is it a girl" I looked into her eyes shock.
"Nnoo."
"Boy you must think I did not hear what your brother said. Ha try again"
"Alright ma, its girl but not just any girl you know. She's beautiful, cute, makes my day when I look at her."
"Aww baby why don't you bring her over."
"Well here's the thing, she doesn't know my name"
"Damn. Boy I know I raised you right, can barely get a girl to say your name. Shoot. When I met your father he had me screaming his name"
"Ew momma please." She busted out laughing.
"Boy you'll see. But I don't want to hear no kids poppin' in this house until after y'all married you hear me. I know you got this but running and hiding isn't going to help the situation."
"I know" I said putting my head down.
"look at me baby" she said grabbing my cheeks. "you like her you go get her if she is worth it.
Oh she is worth it. I mean I have the right to be upset. She may be thick, but her heart is thick too. I understand she don't want me being with her because she thinks she fat and it ain't even like that. I like her for her. Even if it means watching her give me stank looks at school, but holding her in my arms was the greatest feeling I ever felt and I want it back.
Damn Chris you the man.
....
They left me in this house and I haven't heard a damn thing like come on what is going on. I paced around the house. damn pacing ain't going to do anything. I need to go find a way to go the hospital.
Who am I going to call, I don't have any friends.
Back at the Hospital.
What seemed to be years was only two days. The only thing I heard was Sir we've lost her. She lost a lot of blood.
I stayed praying and hoping that she would come back to me.
I miss my baby girl.
I stayed at her side even with life-support plugged into her. Talking to her stoking her hair making it nice and pretty maybe she would wake up.
"Amber please her me out, I'm sorry I left. I am sorry we couldn't have kids. I'm sorry I have not been the greatest husband to you. Baby I'm staying strong hoping you could come back to me baby please do-
Beep beep beep beeeeepp beeeeepp!!
"NURSE! PLEASE COME!"
"Sir please step out right now"
"No what going on. Tell me I have the right to know.
"Sir you must leave before we call security"
I left. After 20 minutes they came out.
"Mister Smith, I don't know what to tell you" He said
"NOOOOOOO PLEASE NOT MY BABY, NOT MY AMBER NOOOOOO" I ran screaming out of the hospital.
