When we walked in the house was a mess. I saw their wedding picture on the ground. Glass was everywhere in the living room and I noticed there was a bottle on the ground but I don't think Mister Smith will notice it.
"What happened" I whispered. I looked towards the man and noticed that he was shaking.
"She happened." He said quietly as his deep voice rang with anger.
I may not know these people well, but what's going on in this house is crazy. What happened to cause them to be like this?
"Come on and let me show you to where you are sleeping" he said with his back to me.
"Ok". We walked into this room. It was beautiful. Everything about it was beautiful. The colors were light purple-ish and baby blue. My favorite colors. There was a big bed. A dark purple rug hugged the floor. I love it.
"You like?" he asked me.
"Yes. Thank you"
"No problem. Also, I'm sorry about today. I didn't get to give you tour of the house yet either. It's late and you have school on Monday. Since tomorrow is Sunday anyways, I'll let you know about everything else when we come from church."
"Ok"
"Alright goodnight. I'll bring you something to eat. There a bathroom over there. It's all yours."
"Thank you." It was all I could say.
Honestly I never thought I would enjoy having my own room and bathroom to myself. It was great to know that he really did care. Even with all that happened he was trying his best. I just can't seem to understand why they live like this.
I sat on the bed thinking.
Why? Why would these people live with each other if they don't love each other? Why put yourself to all of this when you could have a better life somewhere else. With someone who loves you just the same. He is a great person based off what I had seen today. He clearly is a good person. I can't say I won't get hurt because I don't know these people. His wife is crazy. Shoot he is crazy himself for living with someone like her. I cannot believe this.
I got out of the bed when I heard a knock on the door. He placed the food on the ground and left.
I finished eating and took a shower and hopped into bed. Until I heard them.
...
When we got home. There were no words that could describe the anger that was building inside of me. I can't say that I'm not surprised. I wasn't upset that the house was a mess. I was furious at the thought that my wife could be capable of saying things to anyone or A.J. I was shaking with anger because the only words that were ringing in my ears were you said she was mean not cruel. Those words made me feel like these years we were married meant nothing. I felt like nothing.
After I left the food for A.J. at the door. I went to reach my bedroom. I was not happy of what was about to happen because I knew she could have handled it so much better than this.
I turned the nob and went in and notice she was on the ground passed out. I took every inch of me to not feel sorry for her. But I failed. I took her and set her in the bed. Then that's when she woke up
"Khi?" she said confused
"Hmm" I said leaning on the door. I noticed that she realized where she was and was going to throw fire at me. I was ready.
"I see you came back and you put me in bed. How thoughtful are you" she sneered.
"Yes I came back. A.J. is safe if you are wondering"
