You were on your own after your father left you. Why did he leave me. What so important that he had to leave? You almost started to cry but you wanted to be stronger, for your father and your dead parents, so you held them back. You were deep into the forest now and it's almost sunset. I should get a fire started.
**TIME SKIP A FEW DAYS**
The next town was Magnolia. the hunger pains were only gonna get worse so you figured you should head into town to get something. You were almost there when you realized you didn't have any money. stupid stomach. You wondered back into the forest when you found a river. haha water, totally gonna help the pain... You drank the water anyways and looked at your tattered bag your father gave you. You picked up the book that your Ladonicon gave you and opened it. From what you could tell there was just squiggles and chicken scratch. You flipped to a page with red markings and the book quickly closed shut. You jumped and threw the book on the ground, startled. This book is dangerous and you can't let anyone see it. You don't even know what's in it but you can sense the menacing aura.
Your train of thought was stopped when you heard two children's voices. You quickly grabbed the book and shoved it in the bag.
" I can't believed you lost the map now how are we going to get home!" A red head said.
" It's not my fault! You lost i-" she stopped when she saw you. "I haven't seen you around." She hesitated, "what's you name?" A light brown haired girl asked quite forcefully.
" I'm y/n..... w-why are you asking me..... and who are you?" you asked.
" Sorry about her. I'm Erza and that's Haruko. You look alone, would you like to come with us?" the girl with the red hair asked.
"to where?"
"TO FAIRY TAIL! OUR GUILD! " Haruko shouted while showing her guild mark.
" Uh ok... I have no where else to go so why not." you figured you needed food and they most likely had it there.
" Well we are kinda lost do you know where Magnolia is by any chance?" Erza asked ashamed.
" I think it is over there." You pointed over to the direction where you thought it was.
**Time skip to Magnolia**
You were in a beautiful town. The people were lively and it was so crowded. there were more people here than you've seen in the last 5 years. You were following Erza until she stopped at a huge funky building with some kind of symbol. It sounded like people were yelling and fighting inside. suddenly, Haruko busted open the doors.
" WE'RE BACK, DID YA MISS US? WE BROUGHT SOMEONE~" Haruko screamed over all the noise.
Wow.. shes really loud, and the guild went silent. There were two kids, one wearing a white scarf and the other in his boxers, somehow still fighting.
" Uhh Gray your clothes." A white haired girl said. "Dammit" he replied and walked off trying to find his missing clothes.
" Where is gramps?" Erza asked the pink haired kid. "In his office" the said kid replied meekly. looked like he was kinda scared of her.
"Ok," she turned to face you," I can tell you are alone and have no where to go. you were like all of us. You can join our guild of you would like. Trust me you won't regret it if you do." Erza asked with a kindness in her eyes you've only seen in Ladonicon.
"Uhh" you hesitated. "sure .. why not ." I remember dad telling me to join a guild someday so I'll follow his wish. Plus it might be fun, who knows?
You followed Erza to the so called masters office.
"Hello master this wizard would like to join the guild. Haruko and I found her on our way here plus he helped us get here." she smiled
"Alright child, come in." The old man said. " I am the guild master but you can call me gramps. So I hear you want to join ? Alright I have a few questions for you. What's your name. What magic do you have and why do you want to join." he said not leaving you a second to answer.
" My name is Y/n and I have many magics. I want to join because I have no where else to go..." your voice faded off.
"Ok, this is your home now. feel free to ask anyone for anything you'd like. What color and where would you like your guild mark?"
you finally found somewhere to stay and you could rest now. but damn the pains were not getting better. "I would like (color) and on my..... (body part)."
"Alright ERZA SHOW THIS GIRL AROUND AND INTRODUCE HER TO EVERYONE." the old man shouted some how excited?.
"Ok master" Erza took me to the main part of the guild where everyone was. " ALRIGHT LISTEN UP" jeez everyone in this guild is so loud. After that the guild went silent and everyone gathered around you and Erza.
"This is Y/n and she just joined the guild." You showed them your guild mark.
"Hi I'm Natsu Dragneel. I'm a fire dragon slayer and Igneel is my father." He smiled brightly. the way he genuinely smiled made your heart skip a beat. His Onyx eyes full of kindness made you melt into them.
"What magic do you have?" he asked, oblivious to your reddening face.
"Uhh that's kinda hard to answer.." you didn't want to tell him and the guild all if your magic. you had a dangerous one and you didn't want them to kick you out right after they had accepted you with open arms. " I can use many" you lied. Ugh, hated lying to him and everyone but it was for the better.
"Whoa really?"
"I'm Gray Fullbuster. I'm an ice mage. " A raven haired boy said pushing Natsu away with a smirk.
"Hey stripper don't push me"
" What did you say flame brain?"
"You wanna go icicle?"
"Bring it idiot"
" Does this happen every day? " you asked, confused but somehow seeing how close these people are warmed your heart.
"Aye" a blue cat with white wings said flying in from what seemed like nowhere.
"Whoa, what are you?" you asked amazed, seeing a new species wasn't an everyday thing.
"I'm an exceed and my name's Happy!" he said cheerfully.
"Wow" was all you could say.
**Time skip after meeting everyone and a few months later brought to you by Gajeel's singing**
You where on a mission with Natsu, Gray, Erza, Haruko, and Happy. You guys were on a mission to retrieve a missing family heirloom. Everyone didn't have to come since it is an easy job but Haruko insisted. As you were walking down the damp endless cave, you spotted something shining against your torch light. It was in a little hole on the ground. Everyone was in front of you talking about whatever came to mind so they wouldn't notice if you picked it up. You went over to it and picked it up, realizing it was a necklace. It was really dirty but you could tell it was gold and it had a charm on the end. You'd have to clean it up to see what was on the charm so you pocketed it and ran to catch up with the group.
You and the group found the heirloom with no problem and returned it to the family. You guys got a nice amount for the reward but after splitting it there was only 45 jewels for each person. Well, you'll just have to go on more missions then. You didn't mind though, even the menial tasks were fun when you with with everyone. Joining the guild wasn't such a bad idea after all...

yeet.. so i edited the crap outta this to make it less cringy. For anyone who was wondering, I've removed the readers exceed because there's already a lot of characters to narrate and the exceed just doesn't help. So shes gone now lol, rip Misaki. hope the story is more bearable 😬
