Chapter 11

You said your goodbyes to Ruth and left with Natsu to go back to the hotel. Now you and Natsu were sitting awkwardly on a log in the forest taking a break from walking. Happy was sitting on a rock next to said log. You were staring down, zoning out to the sound of the singing birds and strong wind.

"So what happened back there. Like at the church... And why did you run off?" Natsu asked getting you out of your daze.

"I...I..." You paused " Can we not talk about this."

"We were all so worried... " He paused to look at Happy making a kissy face. He rolled his eyes and started again. "Could you at least tell me what kind of magic you used."

"So the weather sure is nice." you said awkwardly laughing while trying to hint that you didn't want to talk about this but it wouldn't get through his thick skull.

"No, don't change the subject" He said facing you. He had straddled the log so he was completely facing you. " Why did you run off." You refused to face him you were too embarrassed that he was so close to you. You could feel his hot breath on your ear as he talked. You could really feel your face heating up.

"Are you ok? Your face is all red" He said putting a hand on your forehead. Your face was an even darker shade of red. Happy noticed and he started to snicker at the two of you. "Shut it cat" you stood up and chopped the top of his head and walked off.

"What did I do wrong?" Natsu said to happy oblivious to your feelings. " Wow Natsu... She totally likes you" Happy said smirking.

"Her?... Nahh" He said scoffing.

Lucy POV

I know that she joined the guild way before me but i cant just let her stomp all over my feelings... I have to turn this around so it makes her look bad, so bad that everyone won't trust her anymore...

"Lucy are you ok?" Erza said stopping to look at me. I must of zoned out into my own thoughts.

" Yup I'm perfectly fine!" I said with a gleaming smile. We walked through town, asking people if they saw Y/n just in case she came back to the town. Gray and Haruka are looking on the other side of town. I hope Natsu doesn't find her. That means they will be alone for a while... my thoughts are cut off again by Erza.

"Hey Lucy. You keep zoning out or something . Are you sure you are okay? " She questioned.

"Yes Erza, I'm perfectly fine. Just a little tired is all, but you shouldn't worry about me!" I said trying to get her to stop asking, Erza is like the annoying overprotective mother of the group. She nods, faces forward, and continues to walk as I continue behind her.

Your POV

I stop at a small river and kneel next to it, then I spash my face. "Ugh, what is wrong with me... why did my face go beet red... I dont like hi- ... maybe... agh emotions are complicated" I mumble to myself.

Then i hear a stick crack behind me and i jump up and turn around, ready to fight if necessary.

"Woah, its just me." Natsu says putting his arms up in a surrendering pose.

I sigh, "Don't sneak up on me like that."

He chuckles, "Ok, whatever you say boss."

I sigh again,"Anyway we should start walking back to the guild."

"Alright lets go!", He says cheerfully as we start walking.

so I finally finished this...
kinda running out of plot so if anyone's still reading and wants to give any feedback im open ears

trying to make Lucy a yandere but its turning out pretty cringy... ill change it later but for now it'll do.
