You where back at the guild and a few days had passed. Every thing was normal as fairy tail gets until Natsu came barging in the guild with his exceed, Happy.
"Y/n. FIGHT ME." he yelled.
"Whoa, NATSU CALM DOWN SHE JUST JOINED." Haruko yelled in his face.
"BUT I WANNA SEE HOW STRONG SHE IS. COME ON Y/N LETS GO IN THE FIELD." He yelled back. When will they ever stop yelling, its starting to hurt. The only way to shut him up is to agree.
"Fine.." You sighed and went outside towards the field. The last thing i wanna do is to really hurt him. I can't really control my magic yet and it can be dangerous if i'm not careful
"Ya ready y/n? I'm not gonna go easy on you ok?." He smiled confidently and then charged at you. You stepped aside dodging his attack.
" FIRE DRAGON ROAR" he breathed his signature attack and almost hit you, but you barely dodged. He quickly attacked again with a kick but his leg was surrounded fire. you weren't gonna dodge this in time so you used your magic. You formed a fog "shield" around your arm and blocked his attack. When his foot came in contact, you grabbed it with your fog and threw him to the other side of you. He fell with a plop and look back at you confused.
"What the heck was that?" He asked, slightly amazed.
"My magic?" you replied, smirking. Before he could get back up, you whispered "fog whip" as a bunch of smoke like substance leaked from your hands. it shaped into a slim cylinder that resembled a whip. You whipped it toward Natsu and he barely dodged. You kept whipping it toward him until it hit his leg and he toppled over. You used some of the excess fog to strap him down. He tried to get up but the fog was too quick and trapped him there.
"Whoa, what was thAat?" He said with a voice crack. Wow if that wasn't cute you didn't know what was. "ThAts cheatinggg!" he whined more, upset that he lost. You released the fog and giggled.
"Sorry i shouldn't have been so hard on you" You said as he got up. He shook his head and smiled. God that smile is going to kill you one day.
"Nah, your fine. That was so cool! What kind of magic was that?" He asked impressed. You hesitated and looked at the ground. Suddenly the pebbles were really interesting.
"Fog magic" you lied. You've only touched the surface of your power and that is all they are going to see. You looked back up and saw a twinkle in his eyes.
"Well we better fight again and you bet I'm gonna win!" He said with a bigger smile than before and ran off back to the guild. You were left standing there, watching him run back...

**Time skip to when Lucy joins**
You and Natsu have grown quite close. Close enough to be considered best friends but you know there is something more than that. Haruko and you have also grown really close. You two are practically inseparable. (Haruko has plant based magic and can bend the nature around her. The intensity of her bending varies on the strength of her emotions. Lucky for her, she is an emotional person.) Haruko and you went on a mission and haven't been back, its been about 3 years since you have been at the guild. Haruko is the only one that knows what your true magic is. She somehow isn't scared of it, just amazed, and trusts you with her life. You two have been training and have gotten a whole lot more stronger. You can control your magic pretty well now so you aren't as worried about telling everyone someday.

"Natsu look at my stamp!" I practically yell with a huge smile on my face.
"That's awesome Lucy! Welcome to fairy tail!" Natsu smiled. We were sitting at one of the tables in the guild. Happy was next to Natsu eating raw fish, of course. Natsu on the other hand had a whole pile of food on the table and was devouring it. After a while of sitting there watching them eat, a red haired woman and raven haired man walk up to the table.
"Hello Lucy, I've heard you have just joined us. Congrats!" the woman says with a smile. "Oh sorry, I'm Erza Scarlet and this is Gray Fullbuster." She says pointing to the man next to her.
"Sup" the man says while some how has lost a shirt while talking to him. Weird but ok? They both sit down at the table while Natsu continues to eat not paying any mind to the new company. I smile. Natsu is really cute when he eats...... wait what...?
"So what kind of magic do you use Lucy?" now Gray asks.
"Celestial spirit magic" I say with a smile. "What kind of magic do you guys use?" might as well make a conversation. I zone them out as I watch Natsu monch on a whole pork roast. All I got from Gray is that his magic has something to do with ice and Erza has re-quipping or something? After Natsu finishes eating he leans back and gives a satisfied sigh.
"Ok" he stands up and stretches "Lets go on a mission! Come on it'll be fun!" Erza also stands up and says, "I think that's a great idea! We shall go now." As soon as she finished saying this Natsu went over the the job board and picked a random one, then ran back to the table. " THIS ONE!", He slammed the paper on the table as we took a look at it.
Help wanted! There has been a beast terrorizing the village and we need someone to defeat it! It has eaten most of our crops and at this rate we wont have any left for winter so we need someone as soon as possible ! Reward: 90,000 jewels
"Seems good enough for me." I said after reading it and Erza and Gray hummed in agreement. We, Natsu, Erza, Gray, Happy and I, left for the town the job was in after letting Mira know. The town was a good 9 hours away while walking so we wasted no time in leaving. As soon as we got there, the other three took care of it while I stood back and watched. Ahh, Natsu~. He so powerful and strong. He beat that stupid, ugly, dumb frog looking beast in no time. Gah, if only.... if only he would notice my f-feelings. We've only known each other for a few days at most but something about him just makes my heart tick.

After staying the night at the town we left around noon to head back to the guild. "The reward was pretty good for such an easy job." Gray continued, "They must have been desperate." Erza looked at him, "They were going to lose all of their food if the creature wasn't taken care of." she scolded. A few hours had passed and many menial conversations later, we came across a carriage. Outside the carriage stood two cloaked figures and a group of seven or so men. From the distance we were at, it looked like the two figures were being ambushed by the group of men, they didn't look too friendly. Natsu being the kind, selfless gentlemen he is, he went up to the group and yelled "Hey!" The men looked at Natsu, then looked at each other and laughed.
"What do ya want kid?" one of the members asked. "We'er kinda in the middle of somethin' " another said. ill make them pay for the way they underestimate my precious!!
"Let them go!" Natsu commands gesturing to the two figures. Erza Gray and I stand close enough to see and hear everything but far enough so we will be safe from Natsu's attacks. "Eehh? This is non of your business pipsqueak." one of the men says threateningly. As if on que, Natsu runs to attack him when a smoke starts to come out of one of the cloaked figures. it quickly fills the air and makes it unable to see anything.

As soon as a run to attack the group of bandits a fog of some sort pours out of one of the cloaked figures. I know this from somewhere... "Natsu!" I hear Lucy yell my name. I ignore it and try to focus. The fog has no smell but i cant smell anyone!
"Thanks for trying to save us but we don't need saving." one of the cloaked persons saod. I recognize that voice, but from where?!? I try to gather my surroundings but its no use. There are a bunch of 'oofs' and 'ughs' and the smoke starts to clear. As it clears, I spot a light brown haired and a (color) haired women standing above a pile of unconscious men, they had taken off their hoods. The (color) haired women turns to me and smiles. "Long time no see, Natsu."
