Chapter 4

Nico's POV

"How's your tour?" Percy asked with a slight teasing in his voice.

"It was quick and fun. She talked about herself" I answered casually.

"You like her, don't you brother?" Hazel asked.

Seriously Hazel! I just met the girl!

"No I don't" I said coldly.

"But you find her interesting?" Annabeth says.

"She is quite interesting for a cursed child" I shrugged.

"I have to agree! Wendy is the most bubbly person I've ever met!" Piper added.

"And her brothers were cool as well" Percy and Jason interfered at the same time, making us laugh.

Just then, Wendy and Nathan were walking towards us. The girls greeted them with a smile and the boys besides me patted Nathan's back.

"Nate, do you think Andrei's still alive?" Wendy asked Nathan all of a sudden.

"He'll survive" Nathan answered.

Suddenly we heard screams.

"SERA'S GOTTA A CRUSH!!!" Assuringly that was Andrei.

It was him alright, he was screaming those words as he ran for his life. He paused in front of us, catching his breathing.

"SHUT YOUR BLOODY MOUTH!!!" Her twin sister yelled back but Andrei didn't care, he was too busy catching his breathe. Just then, we saw a flying fruit and hit Andrei's face.

"What in Hades– SERA!" It was his turn to get mad.

"Did I hit you? Oh gods! I'm so sorry" Sera sass.

"You dare challenge me!?" Andrei towered over her.

But as a stubborn kid, she crossed her arms in front of her and met his eyes with the same tight expression.

"Make me, Andrei!" She spat her twin brother's name like a phlegm.

"Shits gotten real!" Nathan whispered.

"ATTACK!" Wendy yelled, jumping on her siblings, tackling them to the ground. "Make up stubborn children!"

"Children!?" The twins said out loud.

"Look who's talking," Nathan says. before he stood. "What a disgrace! You twins acted like children. Get up before I pull you up"

"Still! Sera's gotta crush of someone!" Andrei says.

"Shut up or I'll make sure you end up in Tartarus!" Her sister threatened before walking out trailing the death aura.

Andrei stopped immediately and went after he sister. Nathan heaved a big sigh and Wendy whispered something in his ear that made him roll his eyes.

"Let's pray to the gods they didn't destroyed the cabin yet"

SERAPHINA's POV

"Sis! I'm sorry!" Andrei yelled from below.

I was sitting at the roof of the cabin to cool my head off. Andrei doesn't want to climb since he's afraid of heights.

"I forgive you!" I yelled back.

"You're not mad anymore?" He asked.

I shook my head while looking at the horizon.

"Would you please go down. You know I hate heights!" Andrei cried.

"Just let me be alone for a moment" I answered.

He went off towards the arena to give me some lone time. I reached for my pocket and retrieved my iPod and earphones. Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes played and it eased my body.

I know I can treat you
better than he can.
And any like girl you
deserves a gentlemen....

I sang. I was thinking of the boy I liked in my school while listening to the music. It eased up my heart since he keeps on chasing the other girl who doesn't give a damn about him but when he's sad he keeps on coming to me and cry.

"You seem sad" A voice beside me says.

I turned to see Nico beside me with the sunrise illuminating his face that made his obsidian eyes sparkle but still blurry with something unexplainable.

"Says the creepy son of Hades" I answered sarcastically.

"Is that supposed to hurt my ego?" He turned to me.

"What do you think, Death Boy?"

"What do you think?" He shot back.

"You're basic" I answered.

"What?"

Our eyes locked with our smug faces. We stared at each other and it was getting eerie.

"Say that again" He challenged, his face inches apart from mine.

"You. Are. Basic." I pointed out each word.

And with that folks, I died!

The fuck! I didn't though! Nico di Angelo the Son of Hades the Ghost king pressed his pink plump lips on mine and it caught me off guard.

As much as I wanted to pull away, I couldn't. It's like there's a magnetic link that makes me want to stay pressed to him. Nico made the first move, he pulled me closer making no space between our faces and move his lips around mine.

Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around his neck, gently tugging his hair and kissing back. When he asked for an entrance, I gladly give it to him and tugged his hair harder making him moan while I giggled during the kiss.

WE'RE FREAKING MAKING OUT ON A FUCKING ROOF!!!

"Oy! Nico! Piper brought some McDonald's for us!" Leo called out.

At the sound of McDonald's, he shadow travelled leaving me hanging and out of balance. My face was pressed to the roof and at the sound of sudden thunder, I fell from the roof making me land on a dry mud and an instant rain came down from the skies.

"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!?" I screamed and as a reply a loud thunder and striking lighting came down.

I cursed and tried standing up and I thanked my wobbly legs for making me slip into the puddle of now wet mud.

After I showered, I looked into my reflection and saw my bright red eyes. It turns red whenever I get seriously pissed. I could also feel death radiating from me. My monster-proof phone blinked.

Sis, come to Hades' cabin for some snacks

I zipped my long black coat and tucked my hair stick in my hair bun before heading out. It was already sunny and it made me even pissed.

NICO's POV

I was stuffing my face with chicken nuggets when the front door of my cabin slammed. It was Seraphina. She was wearing an all black garb reminding me of how I cloth but her eyes were the ones that made my sister yelp.
