I have recently began to read the Quran. I have been think about doing this for a long time. I even had a dream that left me with no doubt that it was something I needed to do. I look at myself as a Christian and its from that point I begin to read the Quran. I first impression of the book is that it is very easy to read even though it's an English translation. I could hear the words of God clearly coming from the book. It fits in with the other holy books which intrigued me to read more. At this point something very strange happened, I was sent a friend request on my Facebook page by a young Muslim man. I thought for a few seconds then accepted him. What took place next was a conversation of faith.
I was sent a message by this young Muslim man who thanked me for my friendship, he had been searching for me because of my work. He told me my work had a good vibe and he enjoyed it. I told him of my reading of the Quran and I looked at this new friendship has a sign. He told me that God sends signs all the time. We talked for quite a while and made it clear , if I needed any help while reading the Quran I could ask him. I am not a Muslim but I am a believer of God , he told me that all believers are brothers. I smiled to myself because I had crossed a line that for so many is to difficult to do. All we have to do is talk to each other. Find common ground. It's strange to think that we all share the same God yet we are so divided. We all have the message of God but not the effort to put them together. It's like three men with a piece of jigsaw but none willing to put the pieces together.
In my own opinion all religions belong as one. That's the way the message came . Maybe when that happens the world will be a better place, everyone believing in the one book one united book of truth of the word of God. Or maybe not we could just carry on being divided by religion . One thing for sure the only way to find out is to keep talking to each other.
