"....when....how....?" Maine asked after all the guests had left and it was just her and Rj now on the sofa, watching the maids clean up and clear things away.

"...uhmm...I was going to ask....would you like to live and settle here in Bacolod?...."

Maine thought deeply. She had loved her life in Manila but her stay in Bacolod made her fall in love with the place. She loved how everything seemed to slow down and she was less stressed even when her work seemed to be a lot. She enjoyed the scenery of the mountains and beaches which were nearby; how the people were warm and always smiling.

"..I was actually considering asking if I could be transferred here as well....I like life here....indi gamo unlike sa Manila...."

"....good...."

"....one of the main reasons why I was sent here to work was because I proposed to set up a branch of our company here....I wanted to be with you...."

"Wow! But I was going home na...."

"I know....then I talked to your boss and asked what your office's plans were...."

"....you talked to my boss?"

"...Yes....he's actually my Ninong....Ninoy Tony"

"Ay wow!...."

"...anyway....I also had a meeting with our foreign partners and they were asking about potential business in the province....I thought about and mentioned Bacolod....they sent me here to scout around....I've been thinking a lot about you...about us since you left....I don't want to lose you, Pangga....I want to spend forever with you...."

"....ara naman sya....don't make me cry na...." Maine swatted his arm and covered her face.

"...indi na mag-hibi please....I love you...." Rj side hugged her and kissed her temple as she leaned on him again and rested her head on his shoulder.

"....so, Pangga....did you know Nanay and Tatay were coming over? How about your Mom and Dad?"

"....well, I told them that I was going to work here for a month....then, I texted Coleen the other week that I was planning to propose to you....your parents contacted me and I told them when I was planning to ask you...."

"How about your family?"

"Remember Ching's mom, my Tita? She's Mom's sister so I told her about everything one evening over dinner....she told my mom...."

"....how's Ching?"

"She's okay....can she be our flowergirl?"

"Of course! I was thinking of her all the time....I've been meaning to visit gani...shy lang ko...."
