Hera POV
"Hera she deserves to know I mean they were her friends and family before us and she needs to know," Ezra argued for the fifth time.
"Ezra I would love to tell Lin the truth but it's been two years and we don't even know where she is or if she's even alive. Once I find out where she is we can tell her but until then my hands are tied," I said. We all missed Lin and after finding out that her old master and Ashoka died all Ezra and Holly talk about is contacting her.
"Then we contact her through the force. Holly you're strong enough and you already have a connection with her so you can do it," he said. Holly looked down and held back a tear.
"Ezra she left to keep us safe from the empire and as much as I would love to see her again and don't get me wrong I do want to see her but it's a big risk and if the empire found her I don't want to risk her getting killed because of us," she said.
Holly
I missed Nightshade with all my heart and when I read the note all those years ago it brought tears to my eyes and it still does today but if I try to contact her it will be noticed by Sidious and then she'll have a death sentence.
"Look I think it's settled and we won't contact her until we all know it's safe," Rex said. It was me and him that found out that Gavin was killed last year and I don't know if Nightshade knows or not but I feel like I have to tell her and I think she's safe.
"What if she is safe and we just send a trasmission out to her," Sabine said.
"No we don't even know what to send it to and if it goes to the empire we could be followed and this will all be for nothing. She left to keep us safe like Kanan did all those years ago and even though it was hard we did see him and all we can do is wait," I said. Sabine was a close friend of hers in the Academy and this is hard on her too.
"It's not going to be that hard to go get her is it?" Zeb asked as he walked into the room.
"Sorry Zeb but we don't know where she is let alone how to find her and using the force right now is risky," Kanan said.
"This isn't fair though. Why should we loose contact with her because the empire missed her. Yeah I saw the broadcast and she betrayed us when she joined them. They could be looking for us right now because of her," Tilah said. She wasn't wrong, when she left she said it was for our safety but then she went along and joined the empire for no reason. It made us all disappointed in her but I didn't give up on her and I'm not going to yet.
"Maybe it's not the whole truth. She could've had to join the empire for our safety and hers and then she left," Amber said. I smiled at her and looked at Rex.
"It was an old military tactic. To join the enemy to find out information then leave and stay hidden. Gavin told her to do that if she felt like any of her friends was in danger. But to be safe I say we talk with Soto on the matter tomorrow and then we wait and see what he says. If we can't send out a transmission, then and only then can Holly search for her with the force. Now it's been a long day and we should all get some rest," Rex said.
Nightshade
I just hate how the force puts me in these situations.
"Umm Nightshade why aren't you helping us?" Luke asked as he tried to stop the walls from flatting us.
"Because I don't have to. If you stayed with Holly or me you would've had more force training and would be able to stop this," I said rudely. It's true but Master Yoda was in charge and it wasn't my place to argue.
"How are you supposed to do that? It's not like everyone can do what a dark can do," he said. I held out my hand and held the walls in place. He looked shocked but thankful when I was done.
"You could've done that if you were trained like you should've been. Now before they come back and find out the we are here and alive I say I would like to go," I said. I was turning into my old self and I don't know if that was a good thing or not.
************
I didn't want to believe what I saw. I looked at my two oldest friends fighting to the death and I knew who was going to die and I wouldn't be able to handle it on my own. Luke and the others ran out from behind me and faces fell.
"No!" Luke yelled as Obi-Wan was killed. I kept quiet and looked at Anakin or now Vader.
"Han get them back to the ship as fast as you can without stopping. I'll meet you there in a few minutes," I said as I walked up towards Vader.
"So after killing Ashoka and almost killing your sister you go after your master. Who's next me? Yeah I don't think so," I said as I slapped him. It hurt my hand but I didn't care.
"You deserve that and everything that comes to you after this. What happened to the Anakin I used to know?" I asked as I walked away.
