"And here is your schedule Ms Watson. I hope you enjoy your time here, " Mrs. Harrison, the principal, says.
Ughh, I hate school! Why does it have to exist?! There's really no point in it. "Yeah, thanks, " I mumble on my way out of the office.
I stop and pull out the red bull I had in my bag. Ahh! Red bull is so amazing.
I start to walk around looking for my first class. Not really wanting to find it, I take my time. When I find it, I open the door and find everyone in the class looking at me. Well so much for going unnoticed.
"Can I help you? " Ms Myers, my English teacher, asks me. "Um.. Yeah.. This is kinda my first hour and I kinda got lost..." I say nervously. "Well. Sit down, and don't be late again, I do not tolerate it. " she says. "Well damn, you don't have to be a cunt," I say to myself as I make my way to the back of the classroom.
As I sit down, I take my phone out and put my headphones in and I choose the song colors by Halsey and pulled my hood on.
Ughh, today's gonna be a long day. It's finally lunch time and there's absolutely nothing to do here. I start to walk around since there's nothing better to do and I walk by the auditorium and see that there's no one on the steps.
So I go up the steps, sit down, then got my book out and put my headphones in. Finally! I haven't been able to ready all day.
I get about half way through the chapter I'm on when I feel someone's presents. I look up and see a guy standing there, staring at me.
"Um.. Hi, " I say shyly. "Are you new?" he asks me. Well okay then, I guess I'm gonna have a conversation with this person.
"Um.. Yeah. Why? " I ask as I put my book away.
He just looks at me for a few seconds then replys "You... You just seem so much different than the other girls here," he says.
By now I feel my face heat up. I have no idea if that's a good thing or a bad thing. "Thanks, I think?" I say more like a question.
"What are you listening to?" Well okay then. "Um.. I don't think you will know this song," I say as I look at him, now sitting down next to me.
He then looks up and notices me staring and grins. Oh God what's happening to me? "Try me," he says confidently.
"Um it's called Never Too Late by Three Days Grace," I say and his face lights up like a little kid on Christmas. "Dude, I love that song!"
He says excitedly. Wow, attractive and amazing taste in music. I look up and see him staring at me and I feel my face burning. Then he laughs,
"Can I listen to it too?" He asks. I sigh, then I take my phone out and restarted the song and unplugged the headphones. When the song starts he starts to song along,
"This world will never be what I expected, and if I don't belong who would have guess it" he sings with ease, like he know it by heart.
He continues to sing while I watch him and listen. My God his voice gives me chills. Then my favorite part comes on and I couldn't help but sing as well
"Even if I say it'll be alright, still I hear you say you want to end your life, now and again we try to just stay alive, maybe we'll turn it a around 'cause it's not too late, it's never too late." When we finished, I feel his gaze on me.
I look up and he just looks at me, then he opens his mouth to say something just as the bell rang. He smiles at me and says
"Until next time, princess." And with that he left, without another.**********************************************************************
