Chapter 24

*Hunter's POV*

I wake up to the sound of heavy footsteps coming close. I look around a see nothing but darkness. I try to get up but realized that I can't move..I'm chained to something. I heard the steps coming closer and the sound of something dragging. I heard the knob turn and I hurried back to my sleeling postion as soon as the door opened and there was light all around me.
"Ahh. Still asleep my angel.." I heard him say and eveything that happened last night came back to me..Ethan finally has me. I felt my heart sink, holding back tears so I don't give myself away. He comes closer and pulls my hair behind my ear l and dropped somethint heavy next to me. Then he walks away and the door closes, keepinh the lights on, leaving me alone with whatever he left in here. I opened one eye to make sure it was safe to get up. Seeing that it was okay I sat up stretching my aching limbs. I then touch something that was moving. Holding back my urge to scream I look over and see another body with chains face down. He's still breathing. I let out a sigh of relief knowing that it was nothing.
After sitting there for a few more minutes I start to mess with the chains. The body next to me began to move so I became silent once again, not wanting to wake him up. He seems pretty beaten up. He moves onto his back and I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. Dakoda. His face has cuts and bruises all over and hes bleeding a shit ton. I start to cry and the sound of that made him wake up and realized where he was..well kinda. He sat up and reached to me not letting go.
"Holy shit Hunter! I thought I would never see you again.." he trailed off burring his face into my shoulder. Having him there with me made whatever was happened less scary and I could breathe once again. I was brushing his hair with my fingers until he settled down and started to think of ways to get out of these chains. "Shh, you're good. I'm here babe" I kept whispering to him.We stayed like that it seemed like forever before we heard footsteps. He came threw the door before we could move back and act asleep.
"So. You're both awake..." he trailed off with a grin on his face. "Let's have some fun.." he laughed. He went fo Dakoda with what looks like a sword and stabbed him in the stomach with. My heart dropped. Tears were falling down my face and I tried to run to where he was but Ethan wouldn't let me. "I fucking hate you you worthless piece of shit!" I screamed at him. He just laughed and watched the blood pour out of him, watching him suffer. I couldn't watch. Then something came to me. I had bobby pins in my hair. I sat up and looked over to see if he was watching and when he wasn't I took one out and messed with the lock to my chains. I finally heard a faint click noise but stayed like that. I looked over him trying to find something.. then I saw it. A gun. He was still turned towards Dakoda when I stood up and got the gun before he could think I pointed it to him.
"You really are dumb aren't you? You know if you killed me people would go after you and make sure you were dead" he laughed at me. I knew this already, I ain't dumb. I smiled at him, "I know" and pointed the gun to my head. His face dropped. He don't want me dead. He loves me. But before he could reach me I whispered I love you to Dakoda and pulled the trigger.
