"I feel a lil' rush, i think i got a little crush on you."

Rue's POV

Zayden was busy rambling about his activities on last sunday while both of us on our way towards the school cafeteria. I try my best to pay attention to his story but it's hard when there is a certain model like guy walking infront of me.

I'm getting more and more distracted and anxious as he getting nearer to Zayden and I. Ohgosh please walk away. Is he heading towards me? Oh god he is. He smiled. Shoot blimey! Is he going to talk to me? Please don't, oh god please, please, please, please. I'm not ready for this.

The mantra please keep playing in my head like a broken radio, silently wishing he just going to walk away. Sadly, luck is not on my side when the gorgeous walking specimen stopped right infront of Zayden and I making both of us stop as well.

I glanced at Zayden just in time to catch the dead glare he sets on the model like guy. Urgh i seriously need to stop calling him that long nickname.

I touch lightly on Zayden's bicep when i feel his tense posture. "Relax." I whispered and it seems working as his shoulder slumped a bit.

"Can i help you?" Zayden asked through gritted teeths. The model like guy seems amused by this but he choose to ignore him and keep his eyes on me. God know how much i hate making eye contact with people. It's proved when i'm trying to look anywhere but him.

"Hi, may i talk to you?" He asked me while sticking his right hand out. "I'm Cade Kyler." So his name is Cade. Even his name is so sexy. I was occupied testing his name on my mind until Zayden nudged me a little making me startled.

"H-hi? Um, hello. Yes, you m-may." Wuhoo way to go Rue! With the stutter and all. A good first impression. Totally! I was about to reach out to shake Cade's hand when Zayden's hand beat me to it.

"I'm Zayden Rhys and i'm her boyfriend. So if you have anything to say. Say it to both of us." He said harshly while shaking Cade's hand firmly. Hearing Zayden said that making me speechless with my mouth gaping like a fish out of water.

"Oh, boyfriend? Is it true Rue? Your name Rue right?" He asked. Wait what? How does he know my name. "I got my way Rue. Yeah you said that out loud." He finished with a chuckled.

"Oh, uh-he, yes, he is my boyfriend. No! not boyfriend, boyfriend. I mean best guy friend. Not like dating kind of boyfriend. What i meant to say is, uh-urgh you know what i mean." I said quickly, by the end of my words my cheeks heated up so badly making me mentally groaned and face palm myself. Wuhoo, another way to go Rue!

"Hey, don't be embarassed. I get it. Uh, actually, if you don't mind, can i have your phone number?" Cade said while staring at me hopefully.

"I don't know, can you?" Zayden reply sarcastictly. I elbow him subtly.
