"Now, what's this about a deal Fordsy?" Bill asked calmly yet maliciously as he took a step towards Ford. Ford swallowed, but continued to speak.
"If you save Dipper, you can have me instead. That would be our deal."
"Don't you dare make a deal with this guy Pointdexter!" Stan yelled at him, but Ford glared at him fiercely. So fierce, in fact, it made Stan be quiet.
"Why would I accept that deal? How would that benefit me? I already have everything in perfect order for my rule!" Bill cackled, gesturing around him. But, being as stubborn as he is, Ford insisted.
"I would be a bigger threat to your rule than Dipper, wouldn't I? He's just a cub, while I'm full grown and know my strengths. I am much stronger." He countered.
Bill pretended to be interested, but in his mind he was just bored of the conversation.
While all of this was happening, no one noticed Mabel peering over the edge of the cliff, completely awestruck. She was hearing them talk, but it seemed muted to her ears. She had no idea what to feel. In her heart, she had hope that somehow Dipper had survived. But her mind told her otherwise. Mabel knew that he was dead, and there was only one way to change that, but she knew Dipper wouldn't want them to be subject to one of Bills deals.
Finally, she snapped. Her fists shook, and she closed her eyes tight, tears slipping down her face, but they got lost in her ball of water. Losing Dipper had been her breaking point. It didn't help that she just lost her parents too. Mabel wasn't ready to lose the rest of her family.
She turned towards Bill, engulfed with rage.
"I'll kill you!" she screamed, which seemed to catch her family off guard. Bill merely shot a bored glance her way, like his life being threatened was normal. Mabel then tried desprately to break the ropes that were holding her, but failed miserably.
"Wow, Shooting Star, your even sadder than your parents." Bill said, which confused and alarmed the Pines family. Mabel stopped struggling, and look into Bills electric blue eyes. A psychotic grin was starting to form on his face from the reaction he was getting from them.
"What are you talking about?" Stan asked, and Bill shrugged.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just gave the Manatees some help with the war and implanted a certain execution rule in their minds."
As soon as Bill said this, all of the Pines family turned pale.
"But, I may have taken the curtosy of killing two of their prisoners myself. I must say, their screams of terror were quite pitiful."
They stared at Bill, jaw agape, while Bill laughed at them. Mabel was now shaking from fear, rather than anger. And Bill continued.
"They begged and pleaded that I stop, that I let them go, that I let them see their daughter again. But, sadly, they passed before I had a chance to consider my gain from fufilling their requests. And, frankly, I could care less."
Both Ford and Stan were growling at Bill in pure rage, while Mabel simply closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and calmed herself.
She only now realized what Bill was doing. He was making a game of their suffering. He wanted them to react to what he was saying in an angry or fearful way. It was hilarious to him. That was why he killed her parents, Dipper, and tormented them through the process. But now that she knew his game, it was time to break the rules.
Bill laughed at Stan and Ford, with their sad attempts to try to intimidate him. But when he looked at Mabel and saw that her face was relaxed and even, his smile wavered.
"What's the matter Shooting Star? The death of your parents not giving you any emotions? Wow, you're even more heartless than me!" Bill proded, but Mabel didn't budge.
She sat the the bottom of her ball with a blank face, non-responsive to Bills attempt at a reaction. Ford and Stan looked to Mabel, confused as to why she was just sitting there.
Bill narrowed his eyes, and walked closer to Mabel, getting so close his muzzle almost touched the ball.
"Are you feeling guilty about Pinetree? You're the one that made him care for you all so much, which is why he sacraficed himself. You're the reason he's dead." Bill said menacingly, seeming to stare straight into Mabel's soul.
Despite the urge to say something, she remained silent and stone faced. This aggravated Bill even more. He growled, then whipped around and faced the town.
"Whatever, I guess the fun is over. Now it's time for destruction." he said calmly, trying not to lose his temper.
At the word destruction, all of the Pines family members panicked.
"Wait! What about out deal!?" Ford said, trying desprately to convince Bill to bring Dipper back.
"Nah, I'll have to pass. You might not believe it, but Pinetree was actually a bigger threat to me, but that was from my own mistake."
"What do you mean?" Stan asked a little too fast, as he was trying to stall Bill from his destruction and long as possible.
"Ugh," Bill said, turning toward them once again. "Do I really have to explain this?" he asked, but didn't wait for anyone to answer. "On the night I killed Pinetrees parents, I accidently transferred some of my powers to him. I don't know how or why, but the only way to get them back was to kill him, and..." Bill now paused, and looked distraught. He then narrowed his eyes, and the eye pattern on his forehead glowed a deep red.
"I haven't gotten them back yet." he finished, and started walking over to the cliff he threw Dipper off of. It took a second for the Pines family to realize what was going on, but they are filled with happiness and horror as they did.
"He's alive!" Mabel exclaimed happily, crying tears of joy. But then realization soon dawned on her, and she was once again completely terrified. If Dipper was really still alive, then Bill would stop at nothing to make sure he is killed this time. For real.
"How many times do I have to kill the same flipping Sphinx." Bill mumbled under his breath, but loud enough for Mabel to hear him as he passed by her.
Bill looked down over the edge, but didn't seem to find anything. He walked all along the edge, trying to see if Dipper was on the ground somewhere. Displeased that he didn't find anything, he growled and turned to look at the sky, which was now a dark peach color.
"I don't have time for this!" he exclaimed, then moved more onto the cliff.
    He turned towards the Pines.
"Looks like Pinetree got lucky. I can't delay this any longer. I'll have to make due with what power I have."
And with these words, Bill began to chant. He raised himself onto his hind legs, and his eyes turned pure white.
