Standing tall
In the gateway of society.
Helping others help
Everybody but me.
Acts of kindness here and there
Courage blinds from all around,
Giving back to you and them
Sending help for everyone.
Little girl sitting, sad
Little girl, lost and crying.
Little girl, little me
Come help this little one stand.
People yelling
Everyone is watching,
Nobody helping
Rudeness definitely there.
The ability to do something that has frightened
Bravery people must rally.
Unfortunately, they are not
All they ever know to be is mean.
