A devasting flood comes across a land of horses millions of horses are swept away never to be seen again...but those that do survive are far from free.
Been a while since update...because ive been thinking. This chapter I know this is a really short book but this chapter will be reallllyy long..sooo in ending this book on this chapter which is basically describibg the future of the characters, etc.
Do you remember the mare that had just foaled? Do you remember the filly who fought to stay alive? Do you remember the gelding who was actually a stallion? Think clearly. Picture them. Tell a story about them.
The mare had just foaled. A colt. They say. Stood up faster than some have. Will grow up to be one fabulous horse. As of now...the mare passed. She had died of natural cause. Free from pain. But I dont worry you,she was adopted out with her foal a week after his birth.
The filly. Happy as can be. Now roaming in green pastures and is actually turning 11!! She is ridden by a young girl every day, besides 2 days which is her break. She has been ridden in dressage and also in liberty. The filly became great confidence builder through the years.
The stallion escaped his pasture and was killed by a truck. A common event if people dont keep an eye on there fences and stallions. They are tricky ones to catch.
The newborn colt..is not so newborn. Now 6 years old. And is adorable as can be. He has a nice belly and is used for halter showing and also liberty. He has been another great confidence builder. Definitely a keeper for his new owners.
But through out all of this. We forgot whats most important. And whats that, you must be thinking. Well. What's important to us may not be as important to another being.
Just as a horse may not be as easy for someone else. Beginners have a hard tine, and its less meaningfull to them to start with until they learned.
They find their passion. They find their game. It makes them stronger.
Now..you might be thinking. Well where are you going with this? Well You will see as I tell a tale. Not a eye to see but its important.
We have all been at the point of feeling like giving up when the going fets rough. Lets say, a piaafe becimes to difficult, a trot turns into hard work and a horse that doesnt want to bend. Bit these challeneges we have to work through.
Some people chose shortcuts over hard work. And for one of the rescue horses, we had not talked about. That certainly was the case. A young colt, about 3 years old. Retrained to be ridden for dressage. Bit was taken advantage of because he had the moves of a champion. His rider was unkind. He didnt find his true game and used short cuts to create one. No cool they say. Ever heard of rollkur?overflexion? Abusing with whips? Beaten inside a horses body. Tangled in a life full of disaster. Born into a loving home, threatened by flood, rescued, given wrong owners, ones thst abuse him. Not all situations are good when it comes to rescue horses. Life after rescuing. Some even fall into the hands of there old owners who abused them. This is a sad fate thst these horses must match with their own two eyes.
Now I say some wise words. Live your dream. Before it is taken. Dont let anything stand in your way.
