Chapter 15: Peace or War

Octavia

Octavia has just grabbed her pack from the ground as she shoved on her boots as she rushes out her tent- she didn't realize how light it had gotten. Her nerves were eating her insides up about what came out of today: they would either be starting a war or peace with new neighbors

But, Octavia needs this peace. She needs it more than Bellamy or Clarke because with it she has Lincoln. Nevertheless, if the peace treaty doesn't work out it just means they'll have to continue to meet up in secret but she'd love o be able to walk around with him in broad daylight- but life isn't perfect.

" Yous ready?" She asks making her way towards the group

" No O, we're just going to another meeting." He rolls his eyes and so does Octavia- she sees the stress in him.

"Octavia?" Clarke says from behind me, I turn around to get ready for round 2," I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted that way- you were only looking out for me." She smiles lightly

" Ready to go princess?" Bellamy says to Clarke. Honestly, Octavia knows they'll end up together. But, that doesn't mean there isn't tension- sexual tension maybe?

" Yeah, let's go" Clarke tells us but as we start walking somebody starts shouting after us, whining like a kid.

" Hey! Leaving without me?" Finn asks sarcastically

" No. we don't need you." Bellamy says harshly but rightly.

" I don't need permission." Finn argues

" Bellamy!" Octavia says, telling him to stop him from coming

" Stay here Finn." Bellamy orders but Finn is being Finn.

" Clarke?" He asks her; for a second she doesn't reply, considering her answer even though there isn't anything to readily consider.

" Don't slow us down." She mutters and walks out the gates- leaving Bellamy and Octavia a little shocked while Finn has a smile plastered all over his face,

Clarke

In Clarke's mind, the only reason she had him come is because she doesn't trust him at camp without her or Bellamy there- who knows what he would do. She just plans to ignore him the whole time. Bellamy organized Jasper, Monte and Raven to follow behind them where Bellamy will lead them to a small clearing which covers Clarke in case the grounders decide to attack instead. Kane's came along to but that's only so he can't get to know how the grounders work.

They feel through yeh forest, being careful o be as quiet as possible, when Bellamy comes up behind her- startling her, a little.

" Hey." He says quietly," So why'd you let spacewalker come with us?" He asks barely annoyed

" Because. It's better that we can keep our eye on him here than being left at Camp with Miller. And it's fun you see you annoyed." She jokes quietly

" Smart." He replies, with a short laugh

" Did I make Bellamy Blake laugh?" She jokes
