Bellamy" And since when do you tell me what to do?" Clarke shouts at him from across the camp, earning the attention of a few people
" Since you can't take care of yourself." Bellamy argues back
" I need together out of this place." Clarke whispers to him, inches apart," It's driving me crazy." Bellamy gazes into her soul, knowing that he can't tell her no, she has too much power over him
" Fine, be ready in 5." He tells her and she nods eagerly
He'd never planned on taking Clarke and honestly, he didn't want to. But, the only reason for that was because of her injury and he was adamant that she was fully recovered; he can see straight through those brick walls she places between herself and everyone around her. However, something inside of him was tugging every time he saw her- a strain on his chest like a drum beating to a steady rhythm and every time they were together this drum got faster and louder. When she was shot, it was like the drumming stopped altogether, he became a ghost to his surroundings. He's turning into a different person and he knows it. He just can't bring himself to admit why.
" You ready Princess?!" He questions from the gates, as she walks her way over to him, looking fully awake and filled with excitement
" Yeah." She says as happy as she looks
" Well, you are the one who begged to come so let's go." He says Cooley and they fall into a steady pace, walking through the gates and into the forest.
" Do you ever stop complaining?" Clarke jokes
" It's a Blake thing." Bellamy states proudly
Clarke had gained a yard or two in front of him, admiring the trees around her and he couldn't help but stare at the beauty...of the trees- no, he can't kid himself so yes, he stared at the beautiful, fearless girl ahead of him.
"Where we going Princess?" Bellamy asks, breaking the silence
" I'm sick of hunting deer." She half replies
" That's not an answer." He tells her a little irritated
" So you complain a lot and your very impatient- another quality of the Blake family?" She smirks, quickly glancing back to him," We're here." She says happily
He finds himself at the bank of a lively riverbank, the sounds of the water gently crashing against the bank as it flows in a winding pattern heading to the ends of the earth. The rivers a dashing turquoise blue, providing a home to fish and a dinner to the 100. Nevertheless, its beauty almost makes Bellamy blind to its dangerous self. But it doesn't take him long to notice the pure strength and wrath of the current, not even mentioning the depth it probably holds. Identical banks, 10 meters apart and then he notices Clarke's brought a huge net.
"Why we here Princess?" He asks rhetorically, not wanting an answer
" We're going fishing for a change." Clarke answers, ignoring his sarcastic remark
" No we're going hunting: for deeds, rabbits..there is no way in hell i'm eating fish." Bellamy answers stubbornly
" Who said it was for you?" Clarke asks him curiously
" Just show me what to do?" He tells her instead, deciding that he might possible like fish- he's never had it so he can't really say he doesn't.
