2 Days Later...

Bellamy

From his perspective, he thought everything had calmed down a little, Clarke's stubbornness keeping her from sorting things out with her mom. But, him and Clarke had been extremely busy with finishing things off and helping around camp. Hems been trying to give her space, and a bit of pace although he doesn't s me to know why he is giving her space from him. With everything she's been gob through, she deserves it. Alas, that design stop her pestering him about his wound every 5minutes; she tells him to see her every few hours so she can check it and if he's over a minute late, she lectures him about the process of hygiene and keeping it clean. In which, he is consistent to remind her that they live on earth, with is a dirty place altogether.

Apart from, seeing Clarke in her work, most things had been dull around Arcadia- the most scoring thing that had happened was that a hunting team brought back a feast. However, the gut inside Bellamy's stomach still lingers with every living, breathing second that someone is bound to go wrong. Earth likes it when they have trouble.

The only thing, they have which is barely dangerous is the grounder meeting coming up in a day- it could end up going amazingly well or horribly wrong: no in between. Although he doesn't know why, but he thinks it's in the camps best interest for Kane to go to the meeting- he knows Clarke won't like it but she isn't his mother. There's only: him, Clarke, Lincoln, O and Kane- If Bellamy asks him, he knows he doesn't need her permission but he still wants her to support it.

Listening to his heart, he walks outside to find Kane; he's standing by the campfire and talking to a younger girl, no older than 11 maybe.

Kane

Once he's finished taking to a girl he was close to back on the arc( he would sometimes watch her while her mother was out, after her father was floated for a reason Kane wishes to forget) Her dad was floated from wasting oxygen fuel but maybe if the public had knew about the shortage of it, maybe they could have prevented deaths rather than keeping it a secret. The girl's name is Mila, she doesn't know the real reason why and it's just another burden for Kane to carry, especially when he's the one who pressed the button that blew him into space. She'd been telling him about stories of her dad where Kane has to nod solemnly and try not to give anhinga away since he's a terrible liar.

Once she spots Bellamy walking over towards them, she skips away to her friends and Kane gets ready for an awkward confrontation with Bellamy.

"Kane!" He shouts as he walks towards him

"Yeah, Bellamy?" As Kane turns around, he sees the serious look plastered on Bellamy's face.

" There's a meeting with the grounders: Clarke, O, Lincoln and I are the only ones who know about it, you should come to, to see how to handle the grounders." Bellamy tells him. Slightly, Kane's a little annoyed at Bellamys phrasing of ' how to handle the grounders', clearly implying that they don't know how to but- instead of arguing he agrees to go. He needs to keep as much peace as possible.

" When?" Kane questions

" At dawn, meet us by the gate." Bellamy answers

" And Bellamy? What's the meeting about?" Kane asks

" A peace treaty. There was one planned before Mt. weather but considering what happened- we're having it tomorrow. We don't know much about it at this point. All we know is that we're meeting the grounders at that bridge crossing."

" I'll see you at dawn, I suppose I'm not to say anything about it?"

" Yeah- especially Clarke. She doesn't k law your coming. I can't deal with that right now."

A Few Hours later...

Clarke

Clarke's stress level during the last 30minutes had gone way above too high: Bellamy had just told her about Kane joining their little trip and Clarke couldn't be more pissed off. The one person she actually trusts has just went behind her back; he knew she wouldn't agree to it but he did it anyway. She could feel angry tears knocking on her eyes, begging to be let out. But Clarke won't let them.

Once minute she want to scream and shout at him, and the next she doesn't even want to see his face, let alone talk to him. In fact, that's exactly what she's gonna do: ignore him on their little trip. She doesn't have to talk to him, the only reason they're going is for their people in the first place to make sure their isn't a war. Hopefully, to determine land boundaries or something like that.

In Clarke's mind, her paranoid self is thinking of is Kane ruining it by trying to be greedy or too cautious. It's essential to everyone that this peace treaty works and if it doesn't, then they'll struggle to live. The worst of it, is that Clarke has heard of stories of different clans and their main leader, it's terrifyingly confusing. With 12 clans all together, each one having a leader and a second then you have Heda: the person in charge of every clan. From what Clarke's seen, she's badass.

But, Lexa seems to think they have a connection, that they're the same; she couldn't be more wrong and Clarke loves to remind her of that. Despite Clarke dislike ness towards her, she respects her because Lexa's a true leader to her people and both of them are just trying to protect their own. Clarke doesn't trust her. She never will. But, there needs to be some sort of understanding and without a peace treaty, there can't be one. She needs to make peace with Trikrew first, and then she can go to Lexa. But, that could take ages.

As night progresses, Clarke packs her back in attempt to make it as light as possible. All She has to do is wait until dawn..and then they begin their journey which could make or break their survival.
