Summary;;

Imagine, just for a second, that Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark weren't the last two Tributes standing in the 74th Annual Hunger Games and so, therefore, didn't become the Victors.

Continue to imagine that Cato and Clove, the arrogant and highly skilled Tributes from District 2, had managed to survive until the end; only to come face-to-face with Katniss herself.

No matter how hard the Capitol tried to divert Katniss' course and force her into difficult situations, from which she should never have been able to escape, she just continued to bounce back stronger each time.

Now, imagine that, before the Hunger Games were aired live across the 12 Districts, Cato and Katniss had made an agreement with each other.

They had agreed that, for pure entertainment and to provide the audience with a good show - as Gale had instructed her to do - they would pretend to be against each other; attempting to murder the other at each opportunity they got.

However, when it came to it in the end, they had firmly agreed to turn on whatever Tributes remained.

Including the other from their own District should they survive long enough to make it to end of the games.

Neither Cato nor Katniss wanted to die, but both wanted to be the Victor in the end.

Katniss for her family, especially Primrose, and for Gale.

Cato for the pride of his District and to prove that the Careers were unbeatable.

There can only be one Victor, while the other must die.

However, when it comes to it, neither of them have the heart to kill the other because of what they are fighting for.

And because, in the middle of everything that was going on around them, they did the worst thing possible.

They fell in love.

So, here is the summary for a new book which I shall be starting in the New Year at some point.

As you can see, it is a Hunger Games Fanfic. So, if you've never watched the film or read the book, then you might not understand some of the things which happen in here because I've taken them directly from the film - as I am yet to read the books but, hopefully, I'll be getting them for Christmas and I'll be able to take some of the ideas from that as well.

Anyway, please let me know what you think and if you like the whole idea of the book.

It was just a random idea which I came up with while watching the film for the third time.
