Chapter 4

Jules POV

"OMG did you hear?" Sammy almost yelled.

I sighed in frustration, I really wanted to be alone at the moment, but I couldn't just tell her to leave.

"Hear what?"

Sammy looked at me with a shocked expression, what was going on?

"R5 have decided to go on a break and so they are staying here for a few months"

Ugh, i have seriously had enough of that stupid band. They are so fake and Rocky is such a jerk. I'm so over them and i really didn't want anything to do with them anymore.

"Yay" I muttered sarcastically.

Rocky POV

I'm seriously so bored. This town is so small and there is nothing to do. All my siblings and Ratliff where in the pool, having the time of their lives. I wasn't asked to join, and they didn't seem to want me around anyway.

I grabbed my bag and headed outside, in hopes of finding something interesting to do.

I was walking along a fairly busy street, when I noticed a familiar brunette making her way down the street. It was that girl that I spilt coffee all over. A small smile formed on my face as I made my way over to her.

"Hey", I smiled as I stopped in front of her.

She looked up at me and rolled her brown eyes before trying to step around me. Unfortunately for her, I stepped in time with her, blocking her path.

"Excuse me" she muttered sarcastically.

She tried stepping the other way, but I mimicked her movements, making her glare at me.

"I've got to be somewhere, could you please move"

I didn't budge.

"Look I'm sorry for what happened in the hospital, it was another one of my moods"

She just continued to glare at me.

"Let me make it up to you, I'll take you to lunch tomorrow. My treat".

Jules POV

He looked at me with such hopeful eyes and a small smile that made my stomach feel funny. I couldn't resist.

"Fine"

"Yes! I'll meet you here, tomorrow at 12.30 don't be late"

"Ok superstar" wow. That was lame.

He gave me a much bigger this smile, and then his eyes widened, maybe he remembered something?

"Hey I just remembered" there you go " can I have your number, you know for umm lunch tomorrow"

I blushed a bit and fished around in my handbag for a pen. I found a black one and scribbled a few digits onto Rocky's palm. He examined the numbers and smiled at me, again.

"I'll text you mine later"

"Ok, but I wasn't lying when I had to go somewhere so uhh..." I looked at our chests which were still touching.

A blush lit up Rocky's cheeks this time.

"Oh yeah umm I'll see you tomorrow"

Before I could reply, he leant down and quickly pecked his lips on my cheek. He pulled back and winked at me before walking off.

I places my fingertips on my cheek, where his lips were only seconds ago. I stood there dumbfounded for a few seconds, before shaking my head and continuing home.

Rocky's POV

Well that went a lot better than I had expected. She actually said yes. There was something about ... Damn it I still didn't catch her name. How stupid can I get?

I walked into my house to see that my family were all watching a movie, next to Rydel was her boyfriend of 4 months, Ethan. He was a complete dick and I hated him with a passion. He gave me a smirk and spread himself across the couch so there was no where for me to sit. Oh well like I care anyway.

It kind of bothered me how no one cared to say hi to me or ask where I had been. They didn't even seem to care I was gone. Loneliness crept into my mind, but I shoved away that feeling. I had a lunch to plan.
