Jules POV

I looked around the almost empty street and sighed. It was 12.48 and Rocky was still a no show. I should have known this would be top good to be true. Why would a famous, talented popstar go out with someone like me?

I got up off the street bench and gathered up my things before beginning to go home. I got stopped by a hand on my arm. I jerked back and looked at who it was. Rocky.

"Hey I'm sorry I'm late, I was just setting up our date"

I thought over this for a while, but it seemed too much like a lie.

"Maybe I should just head back. This isn't going to work"

"No!" He yelled. "I mean I put so much effort into setting this up just please give me a chance" he begged.

I looked up into his soft brown eyes.

"Please"

"Fine" I caved. "But this be one good freaking lunch"

A huge smile formed on his face as he grabbed my wrist and began to lead me towards the park. He walked towards the forest area and led me down a narrow trail. Eventually the trail disappeared and we were just walking aimlessly.

"Where are you taking me. We've been walking for 15 minutes" I complained as we continued to trek further into the forest.

"We're almost there. Calm down"

After another 2 minutes of walking, I noticed the trees thinning. Rocky let go of my wrist as we reached a grass area with the most breathtaking view. It was on the top of a cliff with a steep drop. Calm water filled the valley that lay below the cliff.

A red plaid picnic blanket lay on the grass and on top of it sat several pillows and a picnic basket. It was beautiful. I turned to Rocky and smiled at him.

"You set this all up for me?"

"Yeah, I guess your just so special"

I wasn't sure if he was being serious or sarcastic so I just let out a little laugh.

This time Rocky grabbed my hand before leading me to the blanket. He grabbed the picnic basket and began to empty it's contents. He pulled out some sandwiches that had been cut into cute little sandwiches. He also pulled out a large fruit salad, a big bowl of chips, two cups and a bottle of pre made cordial. I smiled at him.

"I'm guessing your mum or sister helped you with this?" I asked suspiciously.

A small frown appeared on Rocky's face and he seemed deep in thought for a moment.

"Oh..uh..no. I made it myself"

His cheeks turned a light pink and he quickly turned away to pour us our drinks.

---

So far our lunch had gone great. It was 5pm now yet neither of us had even mentioned leaving. We had eaten almost all of the food. Just some of the chips left, and a few brownies that he had self baked this morning. They were pretty good.

A cool breeze kicked in, making me shiver a bit. Rocky must of noticed because he reached back into the basket and pulled out a large blanket. He pulled it over both of us as we snuggled a bit closer and watched the sunset.

"It's beautiful" I murmured to myself.

Rocky must've heard. "Not as beautiful as you"

I flushed a deep red and hid my face in his shoulder. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I cuddled a bit closer to him, breathing in his amazing scent.

"Rocky?" I asked after about 15 minutes of silence.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you"

He looked at me surprised.

"For what?" He seemed confused.

"I really did enjoy myself today and I'm glad you convinced me to come out here thank you for an amazing day"

The stars were now shining in the sky and it was pitch black, aside from the fake candles that Rocky brought. I looked over at him and noticed him staring at me intently.

We caught eyes and slowly leaned in. He put his free hand gently on my cheek, before he closed the gap between us.

We kissed.
