Chapter 22-Dear Sebastain

Alex's POV

"Love you guys see ya later!" Riley yelled as Lin closed the door to apartment leaving me alone with Sebastian and my own thoughts. Sebastian is still playing with his toys on the floor so I sit down across from him not exactly sure what to do I've never really babysat before so hopefully I don't screw this up.

"Hey buddy whatcha playing with?" I ask Seb looks up and smiles holding up a train which I assume is from Chugginton, "Nice!" I say and he hands me a train and he starts moving his around in circles and then looks at me confused as to why I'm not moving my train. I realize that I should probably try and play with him so I start moving my train around making train noises and he starts laughing and picks up his train chasing my train. He hits my train a few times laughing at me pretending to be hurt every time he hits my train. He hits my train once again but this time his finger is between the train and gets smashed when he hits the train. He drops his train and starts crying I freak out at first not sure what to do but then my parental instincts kick in and I pick him up sitting on the couch with him in my lap and he's holding his finger crying.

"Hey buddy let me look at it," I say and he holds out his finger calming down a little I look at it, its red and a little swollen but nothing serious, "You know what makes me feel better when I get hurt?" I ask and Sebastian shakes his head, "You just kiss it and put a bandaid on it," I say and kiss his finger and see him smile, "That better?" I ask. He smiles and nods his head I pick him up and take him into the bathroom setting him on the counter as I open the cabinet looking for bandaids, I find a box of race car bandaids. I pull it out and set it on the counter looking through the different type and color of cars and I pull out a few holding them in front of Sebastian.

"Which one do you want bud?" I ask and he looks at them carefully and then picks a red dragster, "Good choice." I say putting the others back and then take the cover off the bandaid and wrapping it around his finger. He smiles looking at and I smile at him picking him up and taking him back into the living room and sitting on the couch.

"Okay what do you wanna do?" I asked him and he hesitated for a second but then got a huge smile on his face.

"Chuggington!" He yells and I laugh grabbing the remote and going into all the recordings of Chugginton that Lin has. I pick a random episode and turn it on and Sebastian is instantly entranced by the show and I start watch it surprised at how interesting it is, now I understand why Riley and Lin like this show it's so good. I wasn't sure how long it had been but suddenly I heard my phone go off and it was a notification saying Lin was live on periscope. I clicked on the notification and noticed it was 6:48, wow I didn't realize that we had watched Chuggington for the past hour and a half. My phone takes a second to load but then it does and I see Lin's face looking at the phone intently I think trying to read all the comments that were coming in.

"Oh hey Alex!" Lin said suddenly he must've seen my username, "Is Seb with you?" He asks and Sebastian looks up from the show at hearing his name.

"Dada?" He asks looking at the phone. I show it to him and his face lights up when he sees Lin, "Dada!" I laugh and type in the comments: 'Yeah we have been watching Chuggington for the past hour and a half'

"Wow an hour and a half! And hey homeboy!" Lin says waving at the camera. Lots of comments roll in saying how cute Lin is being and how cute Seb and people asking who I am and where Riley is.

"Dada!" Seb says again smiling. 'Seb says "Dada!" back lol' I type into the comments.

"Aw miss you homeboy I'll be home in a little while!" Lin says and then starts answering some other comments.

"Who's Alex? Oh he's Riley's boyfriend, he's watching Seb while Riley and I are at the show," Lin says and I smile hearing him say I'm Riley's boyfriend. It makes me feel like I've gotten the ultimate blessing from Lin hearing him say that.
