AN: Similar to the last chapter, this will be told mostly in flashbacks. It won't be quite as depressing though.
That felt nice to get off my chest. But at the same time, I can't stop thinking about it now. Obviously I'm not in heaven, well technically he'll, because I killed my mom and my sister.
"Are you okay?" Will asks, noticing me deep in thought.
"No, not really," I respond. "I can't stop thinking about my mom and Bianca."
"You do know it's not your fault right?" he tells me. "There is nothing you could have done to prevent that accident."
"I know," I begin. "But I can't help but feel guilty. I just wanted to seem cool, and that cost them their lives."
"I think it's time I tell you what I did," he says.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I'm going to tell you why I'm not in hell."

One year ago. Will's POV.
I love Luke. We have the most amazing times together. He takes me on great trips to places I never imagined ever getting to go to.
Right now we're sitting at the beach, enjoying each other's company.
"What do you want to do next?" Luke asks me.
"I don't know," I respond. "Maybe we can see the Eiffel Tower!"
"Sure pretty boy." He snaps his fingers.
We're back in the foggy land.
"Um... Luke. This isn't Paris."
"I know." He keeps snapping his fingers. "Damn it! Why isn't it working?"
I suddenly see Markimis approach us.
"Luke, you have broken the rules," he says in his booming voice.
He hugs me and suddenly we're in a dark room.
"Luke, what's going on?" I ask, worried for both of our safety.
"It was just one mistake..."

Two months ago.
Being on the run was kinda romantic. Right? I mean, it wasn't ideal, but at least Luke and I were together.
"Markimis shouldn't be able to find us here," Luke says.
"But you said that about the last three places," I complain. "What did you even do that is so bad that Markimis wants you dead?"
"Will, you trust me right?" Luke asks.
"Yeah, of course," I respond.
"Than just trust that I know what I'm doing. I need you to stay here. I'll be right back."
"Okay."

One hour later.
I'm sitting alone and I hear a knock at the door. I look through the peep hole and see Luke standing at the door.
"Come in."
Suddenly, Luke pins me against the wall. He pulls out a knife.
"I'm sorry Will, but I have to do this," Luke says, not looking the least bit apologetic. "You are the last ingredient needed in the spell to overthrow Markimis."
"L-Luke?" I say, my voice weak. "I thought you loved me."
"No sweety," he says condescendingly. "I just needed you for this."
I begin to cry. I'm so overcome with emotion, that I barely see Markimis and some other gods come in and kill Luke.
***
Two hours later.
"What am I going to do with you?" Markimis asks himself. "On the one hand, you were harboring a fugitive, but on the other, you didn't know what he was up to."
"I don't care what you do with me," I say to him. I really didn't. The man I loved just betrayed me. "Kill me, keep me alive, I don't give a shit."
"Well," Markimis says, not really hearing me. "I think I know what to do. We are always in need of new mentors..."
***
Nico's POV
"So now I'm a mentor."
"That punishments not so bad," I say, trying to cheer him up. "You'll get to go to hell soon."
"I don't think you understand," he says. "I'm going to be a mentor. Forever. I'm never going to go to hell."
