"No, I am not," he says. "And hello brother."
"Hello Octavian," Will says.
"Octavian. Who's Octavian?" I ask Will, confused about what's going on.
"Octavian is my half brother," Will responds. "Remember when I mentioned how I beat up a guy one time? This is him. He's homophobic, racist, and sexist. I hate him. I wish we didn't share a father." He glares at Octavian.
"Oh don't be such a downer." Octavian laughs. "That was before I died. Now I'm all sunshine, rainbows, pretending to be Percy and Annabeth, oh, and overthrowing Markimis."
"Why would you want to overthrow Markimis?" I ask. He isn't a great god, but this Octavian seems worse.
"Because he's a huge jerk, duh."
"You're a bigger jerk." Will sticks his tongue out at Octavian.
"What are you doing?" I whisper to him.
"I don't know," he responds. "I'm just kinda shocked."
"Ooooohhhh does little Willy have a boyfriend?" Octavian asks condescendingly.
Will grabs my hand. "I do. And nothing you say will keep me from loving him."
Oh my god, did he just say he loved me? I know there's important stuff going on, but it's gonna be a little hard to focus after that.
"Aw you love him." Octavian makes a baby voice. "That's adorable!"
"I do love him, and we're taking you into Markimis," Will says, taking my hand and charging at Octavian.
Octavian appears on the other side of the warehouse. Will and I trip over each other and I land on top of him.
"Well, you aren't going to take me in anytime soon," Octavian says then smiles and adds. "Later fags, and I hope I don't see you again." AN: I apologize if that offended you, I would never use that word in real life, it's for dramatic purposes only.
He disappears.
"YOU BASTARD!" Will yells in the direction Octavian disappeared.
"He's gone now," I say trying to calm Will.
"I'm sorry it's just-" He tries to compose himself. "It's just that seeing Octavian again brought back bad memories, and the fact that he's using Percy and Annabeth as a cover, I'm really emotional right now. And also... I said I loved you, and I'm just scared you don't love me back..."
I kiss him and he stops talking. I finally break away and say what I should of said before this.
"I love you Will. And I don't care if it's too soon, I love you. So much."
He kisses me. "I definitely love you too."
