QOTC: Really, I was hoping you were dead, but hey, expectations are part of life. I'm sure we can agree on that.

Chapter 32: Unfriendly Visitor

It was about Twelve in the midnight when Sakura woke up, fully bored and virtually insomniac.

And Sasuke wasn't there.

She ran a hand through her silky hair and sighed. This night she's dreamt the ocean. Thousands of leaves huddling to her like she had no bones, nothing but white grain of sand and waves splashing into her. It was paradise, she guessed, different from the nightmares she had encountered before. Away from the hands that were trying to suffocate her during her slumber.

Earlier when Obito was interrogating her within every intel he needed from Konoha, he mentioned how he's been having those dreams too... Of the things he thought of when he was a child. It was nice of him, really. Because ever since she found out about his identity as Uchiha Obito, she realized he wasn't the person she actually thought so. He wanted love, and he thought that no actual person in this world could give him that. So he intended on destroying every living creature and bring them back afterwards, including the ones amongst the dead. Loneliness, Sakura. That's why I've preffered on memorializing my dead. There's this briefest of moments where you literally hold their live in your hands and then your rip them away and you're left with nothing. So gathering other peoples' letters or writing their names on a wall is a reminder that you are left infinitely and utterly alone. Then again, when he'd asked her if this has anything to do with Nohara Rin, he smiled and gave her a charming look. Oh love, this has everything to do with her.

She shrugged as she went to the corridors, where in every five meters is illuminated by a pair of torchlights. She would have been lost if she was new, because last time she tried to sketch a map to memorize the hall, she ended up in Obito's room. Telling her she should have asked for his assistance if it's a tour guide she needed. Trying to eject him from her mind, she scurried silently to the training room downstairs.

Sasuke was teaching Wakana on how to channel a Chidori.

"Alright kid, I need you to focus on mantaining your Chakra into your palm." He said kneeling below her, one arm resting on his bent knee and the other that served as a demonstration. Wakana watched in a keen observation as tiny fragments of lightning began to spark into her wrist, down to her little palm.

"Like this?" She asked cutely, raising a perfect emission of lightning into the air. It sounded like a crumpling of foil paper. They lit the room in a jazzy radiance, like they were holding the universe in their hands.

He was pretty impressed since she was able to manipulate Nature change without having conducted to do so, compared to the prodigy he was at the age of twelve. She'd even raised it perfectly without the sense of tension.

Sasuke has underestimated this tenderfoot.

Seems you could expand it into three blows. Don't let it reach your limit. Worst-case scenario? death.

"Now you could use this whenever you want." Sasuke said, as he stood patiently in the wall and saw Sakura. His heart pounded, knowingly she must have been standing there the whole time. Watching. "Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"

Wakana gazed, to where Sasuke was glaring and saw Sakura. "Aneee!" The little girl screeched, showing her work. "Look, look!"

"It's beautiful," Sakura said considerately. "Is there anything you want to say to Sasuke?"
