My whole world stopped. My father is in Laura's army? The rogue army that is looking to destroy my whole pack so that they can rule the area? My own father.
After Ryder told me, I froze. It wasn't one of those freezes where you hear and see everything and you're just still... No, it's one of those where the whole world is not there anymore. Where there is nobody but you. Where your thoughts could be the things to keep you alive or kill you.
Subconsciously, I knew that Ryder and everybody were trying to talk to me, to get me to come back, but it just wasn't happening. My life was a lie. Everything my dad said or taught me was all a lie. He deserted Wes and I. His only family. Why? To go rogue and fight the family he once had.
But, I was going to stop him. Stop all of them. I wasn't going to let them have their way.
I was Ravyn Marie Smith, Alpha of the Black Mountain Range pack and nobody - NOBODY - was going to take that away from me. I would stop them at all costs. Whatever I had to do, I would do it.
I came out of my frozen state to see Ryder and Rhymer in front of me. Frosty and Cherry were on the right side and Tornado was on the left. Everybody looked at me with concern in their eyes.
Ryder had a hand on my shoulder and Rhymer had a hand on my leg. I looked from either of them to the rest of my surrounding friends.
"We need the rest of the Evergreen Forest Pack -" I told Frosty. Then I looked to Ryder and said, "- and get my pack together. -" I paused, looking around the room once more. "- We're gonna kill these assholes."

It was about a full day before Ryder came back with the pack. Frosty's gang was already in the field behind all the housing. There were three groups. One considerably larger than the others.
First group: Lycans (and even some werewolves) which would be trained by Ryder and Rhymer.
Second group: Vampires which would be trained by Cherry and Frosty. Even though he wasn't a vampire, he knew their ways well.
Third group: Witches which would be trained by Tornado and I. I had purposely chose to work with Tornado because there were some things she wasn't telling me and I needed to figure those out.
We also figured that it would be easier to tell each other our names. Don't ask me how, but we thought that if we knew each others real names, our bonds to each other would be stronger and we would have more of a will to win.
Honestly, I don't know how this idea came up, but I went along with it.
Rhymer's real name was Spencer. Cherry's real name was Heather. Tornado's real name was Sahara. Frosty's real name - as he already told me - was Charles. And then everybody now knew my name was Ravyn.
I still preferred to call them by their nicknames, it just made things easier for me.
Wes and Maci had come too and we all had forgotten about the fight before I left. To them, I was still the same old Ravyn. It was good to see them. For some reason, I thought if my dad had left the pack to go rogue that anybody could do it. Having Wes already done it, I grew more concerned that he would leave again. But I knew now that he would never do that.
Even Tyler was there, he had even came up to me and apologized. He said he had an encounter with someone who said weird things in latin - which now led me to believe that that was a witch - and the witch told him he'd make the biggest mistake of his life.
