That call changed everything. Everything that I was planning on doing. No more thoughts of running away and escaping the drama. No. The only thing I had to do now was make sure my pack and Frosty's pack would beat Laura.
The wind seemed to pick up a little and thoughts were whizzing around my head. Most of the thoughts were that Laura came early and we only had one day to prepare. Luckily, the witches knew what they were supposed to do, but as for the lycans and werewolves, I wasn't too sure.
I shifted into wolf form and raced towards everybody. Some of the members started running into the forest, ready to fight. Others, stayed behind to hear what we were going to say. We being myself, Ryder and Frosty.
Once I reached everybody, I saw Frosty to my right, but I didn't see any traces of Ryder. I changed into my human form and walked up closer.
"Do you know where..." I trailed off, motioning my hand to the left of me, hoping Frosty would get my hint.
"No. Sorry. I saw him running off about twenty minutes ago. That's it." Frosty said softly. I turned my head to the left and nodded slowly.
"I guess he left us, then." I spoke, almost to myself. I turned back around to face the remainder of the pack.
"Alright guys, I know for a fact that Laura doesn't have any witches in her army. They're mostly werewolves and a few lycans so it'll be easier to take them down. She couldn't find enough lycan rogues to fight with her so she had to resort to the less... appealing option. Sorry." I meant the last part for the werewolves.
"What we're gonna do is -." The sound of my armies howls filled the air. They had reached Laura.
"- Kill." I finished quickly as I transformed and raced into the forest.

"Ravyn!"
"Help!"
"Come over here!"
I heard all the voices that filled the air. I tried to go and help every single one of them, but I couldn't; I just couldn't. Too many things were going on at a time for me to stop constantly.
I continued to race on, fighting off as many as I could. Each took a little under a minute for me to kill; except for one.
It was her, Laura, I finally saw her. Unexpectedly, she was in her human form, and she was waiting for me, no doubt. She had stayed a ways back from the actual fight, just silently watching the horror unfold before her.
I snarled through my wolf form at her. I could try to speak to her, but it would be no use; she wouldn't understand me.
Laura just smirked at me, her arms folded over her chest.
"Long time no see, eh? Did ya miss me?" She teased. I took a step forward, keeping my canines bared.
I wanted to transform back right there, to fight her fairly. But something told me that I wasn't going to be in for a fair fight with Laura. Something told me she had a trick up her sleeve.
"Now, why don't you change and we can handle this like reasonable people? What do ya say?" Her smile and words made me even angrier than ever.
Laura? Be reasonable? Those are words that I never thought would be put together.
I shook my head no and narrowed my eyes at her.
"Fair enough." She shrugged, looking unconcerned about everything. "But I do want you to know something before I kill you." Laura sneered.
