Chapter 14- Goodbye

hey before I continue the story (sorry it's been so long before this update!) i wanted to say some stuff to all my readers if u REAAAALLLYY don't want to read this message you can skip it but please do read!

"Luke I have to go back home and talk to my friend" You say grabbing your suitcase and swinging open the lid.

"What?! But we only just got here, we can't leave yet!" Luke replied slamming shut your case making it rattle ferociously.

You stare back at him in shock, you've never seen him like this "Luke, I'm going alone, you are staying here ok, this is your home"

"But you can't go! It doesn't matter about my vocal coach, you mean more to me!" Luke cries as the whole house falls silent.

You know what you have to do. Luke doesn't know what he's doing. You love him too mush to stop him getting his dream. You're just an obstacle. Something stopping him from getting his dream, he just doesn't realise it yet.

"Luke, you have an amazing chance of getting into the final! I can't jeopardise that opportunity for you..."

You both stare at each other before it hits you. This has to be goodbye.

Without warning you lunge onto his lips and kiss him, he kisses you back confused and you both continue kissing until you hear the doorbell ring, Luke's mum had come home.

"I sorry Luke , I love you too much to stop you getting your dreams... "

You gulp, terrified and dreading your next words, you hoped this moment would never have to come.

"Goodbye Luke."

"No, don't do this" Luke replies grabbing your hand, but it's too late, you have made up your mind,Luke will appreciate it one day, you love him, so you have to let him go...

You run downstairs knowing that the tiniest thing could change your mind and you constantly remind yourself, you're doing it for Luke.

You're doing it for Luke.

The horrors don't stop replaying in your head. Why! He said you mean something to him, and now you have to go! Why?

You're doing it for luke.

"Oh hi darling you ok?" Luke's mum sue asks as you see the front door shut behind her.

"Um yeah, turns out, I have to rush home, I'm really sorry! Thank you for being so nice , I really appreciate everything" you say heading once again for the door.

"Oh no! Well I hope everything is ok!? Are you getting a lift?" Sue replies caringly.

"Um yeah, my mum just got back from her trip, she said she can give me a lift." You say noticing Luke standing at the top of the stairs in the corner of your eye.

Knowing Luke will hear you you say to sue " Oh and if you see Luke, please tell him, he's doing incredible on the xfactor and to never stop chasing his dreams whatever happens, even if things he thinks he wants stand in his way"

"Er, sure , well have a safe journey, you've been so kind! See you soon sometime!" Says sue as she smiles and winks at you merrily.

You smile back trying not to show the disappointment that you probably won't see her again, at least not in person.

You're doing it for Luke.

You walk out of the front door and take one last look at the house, the house you had been looking up on google earth for weeks , the one you had always dreamed about visiting when you were 'just a fangirl' then you realise , once again, you're just a fangirl.

You sit at a local bus stop and wait for your mum, when she arrives you have to look extremely pleased to see her as she had been gone for a while, you get into the car and smile at her.

"Welcome back! How was your trip!" You say putting on your seatbelt.

"It was wonderful darlin! But I missed you so much! How have you been, why are you in Devon?" She asks as she starts to drive away.

"Oh... Um, I was just visiting... A friends...." You say as rain splashes the window and makes you jump.

"oh right, well as long as your ok...I'm sure that boy from the Xfactor You like lives in Devon? What's his name, you know the one who doesn't wash his hair?" She says as you whisper goodbye to Teignmouth.

"Oh you mean , Luke, Luke friend" you say trying to sound like you hardly know him.

"Yeah that's the one....are you ok?" Your mums asks as the rain begins to hit the window harder and in large droplets.

"I suppose, but I need to do something, mum can we take a detour?"

"Sure , where do you need to to?"

"To my friends house... I need to find a vocal coach."

You're doing it for Luke.
