Its Tuesday. We were called to go downstairs to practice for our dance. Our song is 'Rather Be' which I'm glad I know the song so I'll have energy to dance and jam out. Our teachers gave us these poles and we needed to bring fabric. My fabric is blue. We grab our flag and go down. Before we go I took off by blouse which had my white shirt underneath. I put on my Nike cap and went down.
When we went down they gave us these black rubber thingys. We placed it on the bottom of the pole.
Gods it hot outside!
"Hot!" I shouted.
"I'm hot!" Em said. I laugh. The other girls follow.
"Where's Caleb?" Alexandra asked. Legit. Since Caleb came Alexandra always say 'Caleb blah blah' 'Look Caleb blah blah blah' its getting a bit annoying.
"Dude do you like Caleb? Cause all that I hear from your mouth is 'Caleb'."
ASHTON
"Dude do you like Caleb? Cause all that I hear from your mouth is 'Caleb'." Alexandra liking Caleb? I felt down. I knew I had no chance. I'm not her ideal Greyson Chance.
"What happened?" Kai asked.
"Girllll problems!" Hiro said/shouted.
"Shuck off, mate." I said and glared at him.
"Listen, Alexandra likes you too just believe it." He said. My eyes widened. Do I have a chance? (So many chance words😂 labyu lor😂)
"No. She likes the transferred guy Caleb. I've talked to that dude. He's chill, fun, smart, and good looking. Alexandra likes those types of guys." I said and they laugh.
"Caleb has a thing for Hailee!" Hiro said laughing. He does?
"Wait really?"
"Yeah! I red his mind one time. He said Hailee was pretty blah blah blah and cheesy shizz."
"Just wait and see, mate." Hiro said patting me on the shoulder.
ALEXANDRA
"No." I said. Why would I like him? He's cool but not my type.
"Let me guess. Saving room for Ashton?" Em said.
"Uh- n-" they laugh. I facepalm. Ok ok! Ashton's cool too! I like him a bit. I mean he's nice, sweet- chill.
"Stu-tter." Hailee says. I roll my eyes.
"Ok just shut up?" I said. Em and Hailee look at each other.
"Oh yeah I haven't answered your first question! He's in our room cause he has no idea what our dance is." Hailee says.
"Oh ok!"
"Would you like to ask where Ashton is?" Bliss said with a smirk. I roll my eyes.
"BIT** WHY?!" And they laugh.
HAILEE
I laugh too. I love it when Alexandra curses at Bliss. They sound so childish yet funny.
"Ok! Everyone head to the gym!" Teacher Jamaica says. We leave our flags behind and went to the gym.

I saw a white van. I didn't pay attention much cause I was sleepy. Who pays attention to an assembly?
Music started to play. I saw a mascot. The mascot was Geronimo. Y'know the rat from the books and comics.
He looked sooooo weird. Em was beside me and she had her head on the book.
"Um look up." I said chuckling. She looked up at me and closed her book.
"Why wassup?" She said. I flick my head to the front. She lifted her head and her nose scrunches with a look of confusion. Her eyebrows were furrowed. Man, this look reminds me of Gally😂
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! " Em shouts raising her right arm with a fireball and throwing it at the mascot. All of laughed. The others were like surprised of the sudden hit. Exactly when Em threw it, he was dancing weirdly. I laughed so hard cause the song 'Closer' was playing.
"So baby pull me closer in the back seat of your Rover! That I know you can't afford! Bite that tattoo on your shoulder!" I sang/ shouted. I was still laughing. The mascot had both his hands on the mascots head trying to flame it out.
"Hiro!" He turns to me laughing.
"What?"
"Play Cake By The Ocean on the speakers!" I said laughing. This is gonna be fun. He nods with a smile. He closes his eyes and opens them. The bass of the song started playing. All students were cheering and screaming when they heard it. We all stand up and dance. While the mascot still trys to flame out the fire.
"Fire extinguisher! Please!" He says while we all laugh. Even the teachers.
" Let's lose our minds and go crazy crazy
Ah ya ya ya ya I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean!" We all sang/shouted. We danced around. Someone finally took out the flame.
We finally stopped laughing. The mascot was fine.
"Holy.. That was the best!" I hi-fived with Emerald and the girls.
"Teacher didn't even say to help him!" Bliss said laughing. We nod.
"Well, children you can all go back to your classrooms. Grades 4-6 will practice for their dance." Teacher Jamaica said chuckling.
We went out of the gym. We grabbed our flags and practiced.
