"I'm getting impatient!" I shouted. I just want to apologize already so this feeling would be gone!

"Em! Keep it together! You can wait for days." Lex said.

"But its like everyday our fight just keeps replaying my mind and I hate it! It makes me guilty of what I did!"

"If I were you I would feel that too but I have to be impatient."

"How? Tell me. It's Hailee, Lex. Hailee. Not any other classmate or you guys but it's Hailee. Hailee is just.. Different ok?"

"I understand. But like you said it's Hailee. She understands people. When you admitted, she supported you and understood you."

"But what happened was different! When I said those things she cried! And I caused it. She looked so weak and broken like what I said someone said it to her before!"

"I know you hate seeing her down." Lex said calmly.

"I do.."

"But listen, who knows? Maybe she's not down wherever she is. Maybe she's smiling, laughing, happy. Maybe she's..." Lex whispers the last part.

"She's what?"

"The way before all this happened." She said. I remember her smile. How she laughed when I punched Hiro. How she calms me down. Her colorful hair. Her eyes. Her voice. Our hugs. Our jokes. Our times. Now I don't see those things. I don't see her. Where are you..?

HAILEE

"Have you seen this man?" I asked holding up a picture of dad. We arrived at Atlas which was the town where dad grew up.

"Matthew Mildhat! I haven't seen him in years!" The man said.

"You know him?" I asked. He nods.

"Why'd you ask? What's your name dear?" He asks.

"Hailee. I'm looking for him."

"What's your last name?"

"MildHat." He smiles.

"Everybody! We've got the generation MildHat!" He shouts and people turn to me. SHT! Attention. I hate it. Nat puts her hand on my shoulder assuring me.

"She's beautiful like her mother!" Um no?

"She's got the eyes!"

"She looks exactly like him." That voice. Its-

"JOSH!" I ran to him and hugged him. He's my other cousin.

"Hey Harley!" He says. I roll my eyes.

"Joker."

"You'll never be Harley cause you're not that psycho." I glare at him. This is how we show 'cousin love' to each other.

"Well you'll never be Joker cause you don't have the sense of humor." Everybody 'oooh's'.

"Burn boi!" Nat shouts. Josh looks a her.

"Who that?" Nat rolls her eyes. I laugh.

"Nat. Another cousin of mine."

"So wait she's your cousin and I'm your cousin? You've got tons of cousins mate!" I nod chuckling.

"Why you here?" He asks.

"Looking for dad." I said shrugging.

"I want to help." He says smiling at me.

"Cool!" Nat says.

"Where are you guys gonna stay?"

"At Nat's friend house."

"You could stay at mine!"

"Nah I think Nat already called her friend."

"Actually not yet. We could stay at 'Joker's house." Nat says chuckling.

"Yas!" Josh cheers while I roll my eyes.

"Ok so first of all don't mind the house. It's a bit messy." He says chuckling.

A/n: sorry its short! So about this chap a little info: Hailee got curious cause Hailee's father hasn't been sticking around when she turned 7. Hailee's father was born in Atlas town which was named after a magician. Hailee's father went missing. It was like the rumors that Emerald's father had. So that's why she went back to the town to look for him. Since he was the Joker of the town he was well known.
