💮Jumin Han💮

I woke up to the smell of the sea. I coughed upon catching my breath. I was tied? I looked around. I was at the port. The seagulls flew by and the cold wind brushed against my skin--making me shiver. My hair almost covered my face. Wait. Why am I at the port?

"Missis Han," came a groggy voice.

I looked up and saw a fat man with two lanky men behind him. The three of them looked like what people would call pirates. Pirates? Do they still exist in this day and age? Or maybe they're cosplayers? Are they? But they're too old and... ugh.

"I am not missis Han. Are you out of your mind!?" I barked.

The fat man laughed from his belly, "Ah, really. Who would've known his wife would deny him so?" I was about to answer when from behind them, a woman stepped out.

She was wearing a crimson dress that hugged her whole figure. The port was cold enough to make me shiver even when I was wearing a long sleeve dress. I bet this woman's innards have frozen. Her dress was off-shoulder and man was she showing off her cleavage. "Who's this boob woman?"

The woman's green eyes grew wide at my question. Her thin brows pulled together and her red lips opened, "Who are you calling a boob woman, you flat chested wench?" Her high-pitch voice fits her image. Somehow, it reminds me of shattering glass.

I arched a brow, "Obviously, I am referring to you. What's with the old-fashioned kidnapping shit? You and your cosplaying maniacs aren't scaring me, mind you. What are you guys, anyway? Self-proclaimed villains of all? You read too much comic books."

The woman's jaw dropped. It was only for a second because she walked towards me and suddenly grabbed me by the hair, "How brave of you to insult us when you're the one at a disadvantage here, you bitch!" Ah. Really. Her voice is annoying. "How dare you steal Jumin from me!!!"

I looked up at her and met her angry, envious gaze. "Ha? I stole Jumin from you? Woman, you watch too many soap operas--agh!"

"Don't answer me! I did not tell you to talk! What did you do to Jumin?! You are one sly fox!!! Break off the engagement right now or you'll pay for it!!!"

I just remained glaring at her when she pulled on my hair again and yelled, "WHY AREN'T YOU SAYING ANYTHING!!!"

"ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY?!" I yelled back--which surprised her. "YOU TOLD ME NOT TO ANSWER YOU NOW YOU'RE DEMANDING FOR ONE?! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!"

She gritted her teeth. Her light blonde hair, from being slicked back so neatly, had fallen over her face because of the wind. She pulled my hair again before she let go and let out a snobbish sigh. She planted her hands on her waist and without bending her neck, she looked at me. She was figuratively and literally looking down at me, "You don't seem like someone we could scare off so you would break off the engagement."

Hell, if only I could break off the stupid engagement I would have done so!!!

She looked at the three men over her shoulder, "Throw her."

I blinked. "What?"

The three men snickered as they surrounded me. The woman crosses her thin arms and smirked, "The easiest way to do this is to just let you drown. And then I could marry Jumin."

The fat man grabbed my arm and pulled me up. I didn't take my eyes off from the woman snickering, "You're crazy, you know that?! You're seriously sick!"

She let out a laugh, "Oh. Listen to the desperate screams. It's okay, (Y/N). You can rest peacefully at the bottom of the ocean. Leave Jumin to me."

I don't understand this woman. Leave Jumin to her? Rest peacefully at the bottom? Just because she wants to marry that jerk she's willing to kill?!

"Alright now, miss," one of the lanky men stood infront of me and smiled as he put his hand on my shoulder. "Bye-bye."

My eyes grew wider when he pushed me. I stepped back, trying to catch my balance but there was no ground I could step on.

I looked over my shoulder and the sea was rising to meet me.

And in a split second, I felt the icy water swallowing me whole.

But before I could hear the blob, I heard the woman's scream and faintly caught a glimpse on men in black.

Even when I was slowly sinking, I felt relief.
