💮Saeran Choi

The redheaded male had been rubbing the back of his neck lightly as he stared intently at the codes on the screen of his monitor. He had leaned back on the swivel chair, a foot up on it as he leaned his chin on his knee and tilted his head to the side, a brow arched. "If the suspect was him then the fake one that would be..."

He had been murmuring as he was actually making a game of his own. Before he could tap away on the keyboard, a flash of red had flew past from the corner of his eyes and he could only sigh in exasperation as he already knew who it was--even without the loud munching sound.

"Saeyoung, munch quietly, will you," he muttered.

"Ya," was his brother's voice from behind him. Saeyoung had been leaning over, watching what he was doing, after walking by. "That there, don't you think it would be better if character X hates character Y?"

Saeran stared hard at the screen and nodded, "That's actually a pretty good idea-" But before he could finish what he was saying, his twin brother had leaned his chin on his head. "Saeyoung, what are you doing."

Saeyoung continued to munch, "Eating~"

He just sighed and continued what he was doing. Saeyoung kept bugging him, inserting time to time about which code is better to use and which one wasn't. He had handed him Dr. Pepper Soda but he declined politely. Hours after, Saeyoung went back to his own side of the desk--working.

"Ah," he said as his fingers stopped from moving on the keyboard. He pushed himself up from being hunched over and stretched a bit as he glanced at Saeyoung--who was now silent and focused on his job, wearing his headphones. Saeran approached him and lightly tapped his shoulder.

"Mh?" was the latter's short reply.

"Be back. I just have to buy myself ice cream."

"Mm. Take care. Buy me Honey Buddha Chips, too."

He gave a ghost of a smile as he shook his head, "Sure." Slipping both his hands in the pocket of his black jogging pants, he walked out, disappearing through the technological and password-locked metal doors.

As he arrived in the Convenience Store, he immediately bought what he went there for and sat on one of the empty benches right around the store. There was a wide meadow there and just a steep cliff.

He loved how the wind gently blew his red hair, making it dance. Enjoying his ice cream, he heard a small meow from beside him. He opened his eyes and looked down and saw a familiar black cat.

The cat looked up at him with its round, blue eyes and he stared back into those eyes, tilting his head to the side--which was mimicked by the animal. "What are you doing here?" he asked, blinking with a blank face.

The cat just purred as it coiled its tail. Saeran bent over and plucked a tiny flower before lightly dangling it infront of the cat. It went on all fours--obviously attentive and playful now. He could only let out a small chuckle.

"Kitty! Where are you!!!"

The sudden yell of a girl's voice made botj of them jump. The cat quickly squeezed behind him as the voice grew closer and Saeran perked up, turning to the direction the voice came from--"Oh."

"Ah! It's you! Hi~! Didn't expect to see you here!" She said with a cheery tone, Saeran could swear he almost saw colours there. The girl stared hard at him, into his eyes.

Saeran remembered he wasn't wearing his contacts that day. He also saw how the girl's eyes fell on the chips he was holding. "Is something the matter?"

Her cheeks quickly flushed as she swished both her hands, "N-No! I'm sorry... I think I mistook you for someone..."

A lot of questions swirled in Saeran's head. Why would she say she mistook him for someone? Does she know he has a twin? Does she know about Saeyoung? Who was she? And she believed his eyes were mint and not gold? Who.. is she?

"Have you seen my cat around?" she asked as her hazel eyes scanned the area, interrupting Saeran's trail of thoughts. Her hands were behind her, fiddling her fingers.

"Hm..." was his only response.

"I wonder where he ran away now..." she murmured, her cheeks a bit puffed.

Saeran only observed the female as she scouted the area for her cat. His eyes grew wider upon seeing that she doesn't seem to be aware it was a steep cliff further as she was walking backwards towards it from being crouched over, peeking through bushes.

"Wait! Miss!" He quickly stood up, his ice cream cone on one hand as he rushed to her.

"Hm?" she looked at him and as she stood up, the wind suddenly blew and she had lost her balance--as she was already by the edge and her eyes grew wide as her pupils diluted.

Before she could fall, Saeran had grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her towards him. The female tripped and Saeran, caught off-guard, fell back on the grass, his ice cream getting thrown.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry!!!" she said as she quickly pushed herself up from falling on top of him. Her hands were flat on his chest as an extremely worried look crossed her face amid the redness of her cheeks. "I'm so sorry!"

Saeran lifted his head a bit, one eye closed, as he rubbed the back of his head. "First, please get off." And then his eyes fell on his empty and cracked cone and he could only sigh as he let his head fall back and he looked up at the sky. "Hahhhh..."

The girl had rolled off of him and was about to say something when the cat popped out from nowhere and jumped on his chest and coiled there. Y/N immediately pointed it, "Kitty!!!!"

"Yes, yes, it is your Kitty," he replied, closing his eyes. He didn't care anymore. The grass felt nice beneath him and so did the weather. He dropped his ice cream, that was inevitable. And he hadn't really had sleep for two straight days working on such a large game and this was relaxing him.

"Wow, you have bonded with Kitty." Then he heard a giggle. "I guess he likes you."

"Does he..."

"Mhm!"

And that was it, silence followed soon after until she spoke again. "Ah! We need to go now!" He felt his chest, where the cat was sleeping, lighten as he heard rustling sounds. He kept his eyes closed. "So, see you again soon!" she said, her voice a little farther.

He just lifted his hand in the air, waving a little.

"Bye bye, Saeyoung!"

Saeran's eyes snapped open as he quickly turned over, propping himself sideways with one elbow as his other hand landed on the grass--he was looking at the direction the girl walked away to.

"Saeyoung...?" he repeated his twin brother's name.

How does she know Saeyoung?
