"Nooo!!"

There was a loud whipping sound and Alice screamed.

It was the next morning and Aaron came in excited to start playing with his new victims. But they day had not started well.

Aaron was furious. Helen had just told him she couldn't find the boys. He completely lost it and took off his belt and began hitting Alice in frustration, but it did not calm him down.

Dana and her brothers were missing. Even her father managed to make himself disappear in the Maze. All of a sudden, last night's triumph disappeared too.

In frustration he took the belt and wrapped it around Alice's neck and began to chock her.

Alice gasped for breath as she dug her fingernails into the belt, trying to claw her way free.

"Stop." Helen said. "This is not what we taught you."
But Aaron did not loosen his grip on Alice.

"Let her go, Aaron." Came a voice from the door. John was back, he was wearing the disguise of an old man and was dragging something that looked like a body wrapped in a bedcloth,

Aaron did not immediately let Alice go. "Whose in there?" He asked John.

In a swift motion, John uncovered the face at the same time Aaron released the belt.

Alice saw the face and screamed.

"No!!!"

Dana couldn't keep her food down. She could not sleep and she could not sit still.

She stayed with Cristy for less than a day and she was already starting to feel suffocated.

It was not because Cristy was being over protective of her but because she dint know where her family was and couldn't do anything to help her them.

"You said that if your mom doesn't return by breakfast it means she got caught trying to help my mom." Dana said curled up on the couch. "So why can't we go and get them out?"

"We can't!" Cristy said again. Dana had been trying different ways to go back to the cells but Cristy stood firm to the plan. Neither of them would leave the house till nightfall.

"My mother is a smart women, we have been here for a long time." Cristy continued. "She will find a way out and she will get your mother out too!"

"But if we leave tonight to go into hiding, how will she find us again?" Dana asked.

"Dana! Don't you trust me?" Cristy asked, looking very upset.

Dana hesitated, she was not sure if she should trust Cristy but then her mother got her out of the captivity and risked herself to save her mother, so maybe trusting Cristy wasn't a bad thing?

"What about the rest of my family?" Dana asked.

"They are probably caught too, but if makes you feel better we can stop by the hotel to check before we leave." Cristy replied and then Dana finally agreed.

By the time the sun was about to set, they were ready to leave. Cristy had packed some clothes for both of them and cash. Now all they needed to do was let the night fall into complete darkness and then make their escape.
