After a few days, the Jedi Council decided to meet once again and talk about the Death Star/Sith topic "what do you suggest we do?" Anakin asked Mace and Yoda, Obi-Wan and Luke looked at them expectatly
After a few seconds, Master Yoda spoke "kill Vader's son, we should" the youngest of all the remaining Jedi tensed at the mention of Han... when would he be over their relationship?
"Wouldn't it be a better idea to turn him back?" The boy suggested, why was he so worried about the Sith's safety? He really didn't understand himself anymore and he didn't even try to
"Back? How do you know about that?" Master Windu asked, looking at master Kenobi
"I-" Luke stuttered, looking at his father in look for suport, Obi-Wan had told him something about it, but it was Han who told him the truth
Anakin got the hint and helped his son out of it "I agree with him, we can turn him back to the light" he said, he knew, as the other masters, that it'd be practically impossible especially if they all wanted to survive the Emperor's powers
Master Windu looked at him "He's been raised in the dark side by Vader and Emperor Palpatine, it'd be too risky" he said, Luke looked down, he felt torn, he really wanted to help the Jedi and all, but it was Han, and no matter what he did, it'd be really hard to get over the Sith
Master Skywalker glared at his son 'calm down, you're making obvious that something isn't right' he said through the Force
The Padawan looked back at him 'well, of course something isn't right, they want to kill him' he sent back, the master rolled his eyes, knowing he wouldn't be over Han for a long timeSomething broke the boy's thoughts "The decision's been made, Solo will be killed for the greater good" What?! This wasn't supposed to end like this! Luke knew he couldn't stop the Council, but he could get involved
"Can I go? We can do it" the boy said gesturing to himself and Anakin, Master Yoda nodded and he and Mace left, leaving Anakin, Luke and Obi-Wan alone in the room
The oldest of the three frowned, knowing something was troubling the young Jedi "What's wrong Luke? You're the one who wanted to kill him in the first place" he asked, the Padawan looked at him slightly wide-eyed, trying to hide his panicking
"Nothing" he replied~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luke felt terrified, he knew that Han knew he was coming, he wasn't alone, and he knew the Sith wouldn't be able or dare to touch his father, but that wasn't what worried him, he had to face Han again, after what had happened last time, he didn't know what could happen
Getting out of his room, Han smirked, he could feel how terrified the young Jedi was, the darkness within him had grown since they last saw each other. As he walked to the docking bay to greet his visitors, he saw Vader "father, I'd like to deal with them, I won't fail you this time" he said, Vader nodded and left. He wouldn't fail this time
The two Jedi got out of the ship and saw what was waiting for them, Han stood there, twirling his lightsaber. Luke's heart broke a little more as he saw that, he knew something like this would happen, but there was no way he could prepare himself to face the one he still loved
"Awe, look at that! Father and son, how cute! Let's see which one of you comes out of this alive" the Sith smirked, Anakin frowned and Luke ignited his lightsaber "are you really going to attack me, kid? I don't think you are" the boy frowned, Han was right, he wouldn't be able to hurt him, no matter what he did
At the Jedi temple, Obi-Wan was trying to figure out what was wrong, he knew something wasn't right on the Death Star, but he didn't know what it was
On the battle station, the three lightsabers clashed, neither of the two Jedi wanting to hurt the Sith, who glanced at Luke "stop trying, either you or your father are going to die today" he said, the Padawan frowned and groaned in pain as he fell sue Han cutting his leg, Anakin glared at the man fighting him "you're going down too"
Luke watched from the floor, not being able to stand up. At that moment, he felt useless, he knew nothing would stop the Sith
Anakin thought of him for a second, he couldn't kill Han, his son was in love with him, he just couldn't do it
Luke's eyes widened, a scream was heard from somewhere near them, the Jedi's eyes looked right into Han's emotionless ones as cold filled the room, this wasn't happening, he looked a few feet away from him, where Anakin's body laid
A spark of guilt crossed the Sith's eyes, but it was quickly replaced with satisfaction as he looked into Luke's, whose were filled with hate and anger "so, how was it? Did I do great..." he asked ignoring the Padawan on the floor "master Kenobi?" Obi-Wan stood in the doorway, hate swelling in him, looking at his former apprentice, and igniting his lightsaber "you aren't going to do it, you know I'm right" the Sith smirked as the Jedi master retracted his saber, they'd both forgotten the Padawan was there until he Force pushed Han to a wall, Obi-Wan looked at him shocked that, after witnessing his father's murder, he still had enough strength to do that when it was hard for him not to collapse
"I really hope you know that you're going to be dead soon, I will personally make sure of it" the young Jedi said lowly as Han slowly approached him, letting hate take over him and not giving a fuck about Obi-Wan being there "and I really want you to know that you're nothing to me"
Han smirked "don't be so sure of it kid" the three of them felt Vader was coming, Luke jumped over Anakin to Han
"Good, young Skywalker, use your hate against him, he killed Anakin" Vader said walking past Obi-Wan, the young Jedi blinked, what was he doing? This wasn't who he was at all, he hated killing people, even the Sith, no matter how much they deserved it.
Before he could react, two lightsabers clashed before him Run, Luke the boy shivered seeing his father's Force ghost behind Han you two need to leave Anakin said, and by the looks of it, Obi-Wan saw and heard him too, the Padawan looked at his father's body and ran, master Kenobi following him, carrying Anakin's body, Luke got inside the ship in which he got there with his father
Everyone at the Jedi Temple knew what had happened when they saw Luke alone in the ship, even Padmé
Luke didn't cry, he didn't eat, talk or sleep in the following days, feeling like that was his fault
Luke Skywalker was heartbroken, and it'd take a miracle to find the cure he needed
