"Nigga you bring the whole city out when you come through. This bitch live!" Tonio screamed into my ear. We were standing on the balcony, overlooking the entire club. To be honest, I just wanted to get back to the house and chill because starting tomorrow I'll be hitting the road for a while. But since I was here I was going to enjoy myself. I was already lifted, having smoked two blunts just before we got here and now I was currently sipping on Ciroc straight on the rocks.
"Ay that nigga Duck said he was on his way but he got caught up in some shit. He said he was gon meet up wit us in Ohio tomorrow." My homeboy, Ace, said to me.
"Shut up Tonio, don't say shit." I said, before he could even fix his mouth.
"Man I told you fuck that punk ass nigga but nobody listen to Tonio."
I didn't reply back, I just continued to stare out at the club. I ain't wanna tell him I been had a feeling about Duck because I wanted to figure the shit out on my own. honestly I was ready to cut that nigga off but I wanna see what's really up wit him and until I find out everybody just gon have to sit tight.
And that's when I saw her...again. She damn near blew my mind with that skin tight red dress on. I'm sure if she bent over all that ass would pop out. Her and the chic she was with went straight to the bar and that's when I began to make my move.
"Ay where you going? You can't just be moving around by yourself like that." Tonio asked.
"Ay chill out man. I got this." I told him and made my way down the stairs. I was hoping I made it to them in time before they paid. As luck would have it, I stopped Red Dress before she handed the bartender her credit card.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let me get that." I interrupted. They both turned around and looked at me like I was crazy. I guess it finally registered in the other girl's head who I was because she nudged her friend and whispered my name. Red Dress didn't seem fazed though as she turned her attention back to the bartender and handed him her card again.
"Thanks but no thanks." She said Dryly.
"Damn a nigga can't be nice these days huh?"
"Right?" Her friend said nudging her in the side, "Can't be nice nowadays."
"I mean no disrespect but why have somebody do something for me when I can do it myself? It's always more to it. You wanna buy me drink but what you really want is to take me home because you feel like I owe you something." She said turning around to face me.
"Well from the looks of it I can see that you can take care of yourself. that's not at all what I was getting at. A nigga just genuinely wanted to buy you and ya girl a drink...no strings attached but I see you so far stuck up that you can't see it." I said beginning to walk off. "And for the record, you said I'd take you home? Naw baby girl, I'd take you to a hotel." I added and walked off. I could see her mouth hanging wide open. once again, I am that man. The fuck she think I am? Just as I was about to weave through the dance floor I heard screaming. "oh my God, she got a gun!" I didn't realize how dumb my decision to turn around was until I was staring down the barrel of a gun. When my eyes focused on the person holding it I swear I got even more mad.
"Fuck you gon do with that Red Dress?"
"What the fuck you think nigga?" She spat back.
"What's wrong? Did somebody get their feelings hurt?
"Marri! What the fuck you doing girl? You can't just be pulling ya shit out like that." Her friend said. so Marri was her name. Even though I was heated, I was turned on at the same time. She was sexy as fuck holding that gun. She had a nice lil grip on it too. I could tell she's had some lessons before.
"Bitch, put the gun down!"
Pow!...Pow!..Pow!
The last thing I saw was Marri being pushed from the side and a bullet piercing my skin before I was forced to fall to the ground.
