Amir
Sehven and I had been sitting in the parking lot of the jail for over an hour waiting for Marri. She had posted a $50,000 dollar bond and I paid cash money for it. I hated the fact that she had to sit in there for even a minute let alone the 10 hours she's been in there. If I could've traded places with her I would have. I'm not saying she couldn't hold her own because she could, I just ain't ever want her in no jailhouse.
Since she was hauled off I had her phone and it had been ringing non stop. Majority of the numbers I didn't know but the one I did know was from our old supplier. I bet he was calling to see where she was since today was the day she was supposed to pick up the shipment. I had a good mind to answer but decided not to. I was quickly interrupted of my thoughts when Sehven lifted up her shirt revealing her naked breast. "What the fuck are you doing girl?"
"Don't act so surprised. You act like you ain't never seen my titties before." She said smiling.
"Crazy ass girl."
"Get over yourself Amir, it's hot out here."
"Whatever man, say let me ask you a question. Have Marri ever talked about her moms before?" I had to change the subject bc on the cool I felt myself rising and that was the last thing I wanted right now.
"I've asked about her parents before and she told me she didn't know who her daddy was bc her mama was a prostitute that gave birth to her and left her for dead on the side of a dumpster. She ain't never told you that?"
"Hell naw. Everytime I used to ask she would shoot me down so I stopped asking."
"Why you ask?"
"Just curious but say I got another proposition for me and Marri."
"Hold on man fuck that, it's hot. Can you turn on the truck for a little while before I get all the way naked and then you really gon be complaining."
"Damn girl, you sure is doing a lot of complaining," I said while letting the windows up and turning the ac on,"anyway I went to ole dude last night-"
"Who is ole dude?" She asked, interrupting.
"Can I finish?"
"My bad, continue."
"Like I was saying...ole dude from the club. Whe I left last night I went to the club to see about getting the tape-"
"Did you get it?" She asked, interrupting again.
"Man say...shut up. I didn't get the tape but we aint gotta worry about it coming out."
"If you didn't get the tape then how the fuck am I not supposed to worry about it? My girl can't go down for this shit. We need to pay Dominique a vist to make sure that nigga aint gon talk?"
"We aint doing shit. I got this all under control, trust me. You and Mar just gon sit back and watch me work and do what I do. In the mean time Bone got a proposition for me."
"Bone is the owner?"
"Yea, he want us to push his weight for him and in return the tape disappear."
"I dont know about that Amir. What about yall old supplier. Oh shit! We was supposed to meet him today."
"What you mean we?"
"Marri asked me to go with her since you wasn't going. Well not really, I offered to go if she went out with me. Fuck! This is all my fault!"
"It aint nobody fault but Marri's if you wanna be real about the situation. She just got hot headed and wasn't thinking but I promise everything all good. No tape, no evidence.
"I hope so." She said closing her vents. I just smiled and shook my head. Truth be told, I hope I was making the right decision by deciding to work with Bone. I hadn't told him my decision yet but I honestly knew before I walked out his club last night. Besides, since we wasn't getting it from Dinko no more we could use the weight from him. I just gotta find out the ins and outs of his operation and hopefully it wasn't on no bullshit because I aint got time to be gettinh caught up. I was gon let that nigga wait on my answer at least another day though because my next order of business was finding out where that nigga Dominique was. I had a good mind to think he wasn't gon say shit because for one he would've said it by now and Marri wouldn't have a bond and two, he was a street nigga hisself. He lived by the street code of no snitching. I just gotta make sure he was on no retalitating shit.
"There she go!" Sehven exclaimed sitting up. Looking up, I saw Marri walking out the jail. When she got closer, one of the gurards that were sitting at a booth outside opened the gate and let her into the parking lot.
"Its a bitch in there that I gotta pop, for real." She said hopping in the truck.
"Aint that the same shit that got you in here in the first place?" I asked
"Man fuck that. She was talking all that hot shit because she knew I couldn't do nothing. Let me catch her in these streets, she gone."
"Man you just need to chill the fuck out and sit back. You got enough going on as it is."
"Whatever. Fuck her and all them bitches in there. They all can kiss my ass."
"I aint tryna hear all that. Ima drop you off at the house. I got this lawyer coming to talk to you while I go handle some business."
"When because I got some shit to handle myself? I still gotta hit this highway. I know Dinko been looking for me."
Mar tell me you not serious. You waist deep in shit and you tryna hit the highway? You get pulled over and you outta there. You got a attempted murder charge on you, you know you cant leave the city."
"Did you not hear me say fuck them bitches? I don't know about you but I need this money. Hell I know you do since you just dropped fifty on me." She was getting me heated every time she said a word.
"Amarri shut the fuck up dog! I'm taking yo ass home and you are to stay put and thats final. You doing too much man. Im tryna clear yo name from this bullshit and you tryna do extra shit. Now im about to call this lawyer so he can come talk to you dammit!" I hated to talk to her but she can be so stubborn and the shit ran me hot. I looked at her through the rearview mirror and could tell I struck a nerve but she said nothing. The rest of the ride was quiet except for D.R.A.M's Broccoli blaring through my speakers.
