Chapter 8

You woke up the next morning to someone moving. Looking over to see who it was, you got a sad look.
Danny was sleeping next to you and you knew he knew now what was up. Finding your phone, you looked at it. You had texts from Arin and Suzy.

"What's happened!? Why did Dan suddenly go to New York!? (Y/N), is something wrong!?"

You read Arin's message, then you looked at Suzy's.

"(Y/N), what's wrong..? You haven't responded to our calls and we're worried. Please call as soon as you see this message. We love you."

You sat up slowly, not wanting to wake Danny up, and got out of your hospital bed. Waddling out, you called Suzy.
"Hello?" You heard her pick up and you then remembered what time it would be over there.
"Sorry Suzy, did I wake you?" You said and you heard her gasp.
"No no no! Not at all! What happened (Y/N)? Are you okay? Do you know where Danny went!?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just in the hospital because of a leg injury and they kept me overnight to make sure my heart stays stable. Also, Danny is with me. He flew over after (R/N) called him." You told her. You heard her sigh and Arin could be heard.
"We are so thankful you're okay! Please tell Danny when he wakes up, to at least come home soon. Well, I have to go. Bye, (Y/N)."
She finished as she hung up. Looking over at the sleeping jew, you walked over to him and kissed his forehead, humming Our Song.
He soon woke up and you stopped playing with his hair. "Danny! G-Good morning." You said, as he looked at you. "Hey.... Did I end up falling asleep?" He asked lifting his head up. You nodded and he looked at his phone. "I've already talked to Suzy and she said for you to at least come home soon." You hold him smiling.
He hugged you and then he kissed your head. "I only care about you right now..."
Your smile grew and you felt safe around him. For some reason, all your fears faded away when he was around.
"I'm safe, Daniel. Your friends want you. I'll be okay, okay? Besides, I can go home anytime." You said, getting out of the bed you hopped back into and waddled around. "See? I'm okay! The cast is a little uncomfortable, but I'll live! Danny, you have friends back at home waiting for you." You told him.
He sighed and smiled. "Okay, I'll go home tomorrow. But! You have to promise to keep in touch." He said getting up and walking over to you. "I promise!" You said puffing your chest out. He laughed and bent down to your height. "Okay, now we gotta take you home."
He handed you your crutches and helped you out. Walking to his rental, you got in.

When you got home, you were tackled by (R/N). "(Y/N)!!!" She screamed as she hugged you to death. Danny helped you up, laughing at the scene.
"Jesus, (R/N), please don't make me go back to the hospital...." You said, leaning on Danny. She got this sneaky expression as she looked at us.
"Is there something your not telling me, (Y/N)?"
You blushed and Danny smirked. "We don't know what you're talking about, (R/N). Please do clarify what you mean." Danny said as you tried hiding your red face in his arm due to the height difference.
"ARE YOU TWO DATING!?" She yelled and you jumped at the sudden loud noise.
He chuckled, "I don't know. Are we?" He continued to play stupid.
You began to shake and Danny looked at you.
"You okay?" He asked. You lifted your head up and burst out into laughter. "You two are hilarious. You know that? Oh my god...." You said calming down and Danny was now dying of laughter.
(R/N) smirked and rolled her eyes. She then walked over to you and grabbed your arm, supporting you while she helped you to the couch.
Sitting down, (R/N) handed you a box. "Open." She slightly demanded. You hesitantly took the box and opened it, gasping you saw a new camera.
"I used the money I had saved for Christmas on that. Be thankful." She said proudly.
Laughing you asked Danny to get your camera stand and made a new video, guest starring Danny and (R/N).

It was what made you gain 1,000,000 more subscribers and made you change.
