Chapter 26

When you woke up again, your head was in Danny's lap.
"You awake..?" He asked and you nodded, trying to sit up. But as you tried to sit up, your ribs began to hurt and you ended up falling back down on Danny.
"Just rest and take your time." Danny whispered, smiling at you.
"What did that note say, the one Nick handed you?" You asked Danny, looking at him. He pulled the note out of his pocket and read it to you.
"We've been contacted by your friends. Don't worry, we are on your side. Also, tell (Y/N) she's an aunt. Katie has a little girl named Carrie. Anyway, the one named Arin will be coming by to secretly take you both home. We'll distract father while (Y/N) leads you through the house out back. That is where we arranged for you both to be picked up.

Date of Meeting: 4 Weeks from Now"

When he finished there were two thoughts running through your head. One, you both may be dead by then, or two, you both would have ended up joining the community, brainwashed.
"We'll survive through this, together." You said and he leaned forward and kissed you. "You bet we will."

After a few hours of you and Danny talking, your father came downstairs. "(Y/N), come with me."
You looked at Danny, then got up. You painfully walked over to your father and he then forcefully grabbed your shirt collar and pulled you upstairs.

When you came back down, Danny wasn't there and you were severely bruised.

You then wished 4 weeks was now 4 minutes.
