Chapter 28

A/N Okay guys, here is my speed update. I am finishing the story. After this chapter gets posted, I'll put up the other chapters I wrote in my time gone. Wait, you thought I was trying to enjoy the last few days of fall break? Of course not! I was instead, finishing this story. I hope you have enjoyed.

.:Four Weeks Later:.
We sat there on the floor of the basement. Both of us bruised a little, but still breathing. Father has been talking about using us as ransom, but Nick surprisingly got us on Father's goodish side. We aren't as beat up as we used to be, and we were medically taken care of by Katie.
This incident has brought you and Danny closer together, determined to get out. You had offered Nick and Katie to escape with you guys, but they were worried about their families. Danny told them it would be fine and they are still thinking about it.
"It's been four weeks, right?" You asked Nick when he entered the room. You and Danny had been tied together as punishment for not cooperating. "Yeah, tomorrow's the day." He said placing the food down in reach.
"Sorry, sis, about how we've been treating you both. I mean it. But if we didn't listen to father, he could have our families killed." Nick said, leaving. You leaned your head back onto Danny.
"I miss the others.... Even Ross..." You whispered. Danny chuckled, "So do I... Even Ross..."

.:Nex Day due to Stormi wanting to hurry things up within 32 chapters most:.
You woke up to Danny squirming. You knew he was trying to get out of the rope tying the both of you up. You also joined him, trying to squirm out. But both of you stopped when you heard the door open. You father entered with a smile.
"Guess what, (Y/N)! You're free to go to your room! As for Daniel over here, he is staying here." He said, cutting the rope and grabbing your arm. Before you could protest he punched you in your stomach. Danny stood up, but your father pushed him into the wall, knocking the breath out of Danny.
You tried to reach out to Danny, but your father dragged you away, closing the door. He threw you into your room and locked the door.
Looking around, everything was in its place. Nothing had moved since you ran away. You laughed to yourself, remembering your terrible taste as a 5 year old.
You sat down and looked out the bulletproof, forever locked window. Your room was in the back of the house beside the door to the basement. Your window looked out into the backyard, lucky right?
You began to feel weak as you clutched your chest. Your heart was being a jerk and began to slow down. Leaning on the window, you noticed it was night.
After sitting there for about 30 minutes, you saw a dark figure hop over the fence into the backyard. It was followed by two more. You got hopeful and tapped your window, hoping they'd hear. They did. They walked over to your window and you unlocked it, after all, it was the same window you escaped through originally. But you wouldn't fit in it now.
The three people took their masks off, and you smiled. "About time.." You whispered. It was Arin, Barry, and Ross.
"Sorry we took so long. We had to get all of this stuff." Arin whispered. You nodded and heard the back door open. It was Nick.
"Listen you three, be very quiet. Father is asleep, and you can't wake him. Come on, we'll get you first (Y/N)." Nick led them into the house and to your room. Nick unlocked the door and you slowly got up. "Are you okay..?" Nick asked you walking over. "Yeah... My heart is acting up though.." You whispered, grabbing Arin's shoulder and used him to help walk.
Nick unlocked the first basement door and motioned for you four to walk slowly and silently. Ross however couldn't walk quietly. "Goddamnit Ross, walk quieter." Barry told him.
When you guys reached the 2nd door, Nick was going through his key ring. Finding the key, he unlocked the door and you guys ran in.
Danny was sitting there, looking over in surprise. Arin leaned you on Barry as he went to go hug his best friend.
"So sweet." You whispered to Barry, who nodded in agreement. "Yeah, its so sweet I'm getting diabetes." Ross said, smirking.
"Way to ruin the moment, Ross." Danny said, using Arin to get up. You giggled and Barry sighed. "Can we save this for later guys? We are on a time limit after all." Barry said, carefully walking over to them with you. "So, how are we leaving? The same way we came?" Arin asked Nick, who nodded. "Yeah. That's the fastest and quietest way out."
While Barry helped you up the stairs, Arin helped Danny. You both were in pretty bad shape, even after everything Katie did to help.
"Shh." Nick looked around the corner, we heard faint snoring. "Okay he's still asleep. Quietly make your way back to the door." Nick whispered, leading the way. Once you guys reached the door, Nick carefully opened it and all of you got out. "Thanks, Nick. It's nice to know you guys are safe." You told him, giving him a hug. "Go. Don't risk getting caught." He said, smiling. Nick went back inside the house and you looked at the fence. "Uh... How exactly are Danny and I getting over in our condition?" You asked them.
"Oh, we hadn't thought of that." Ross said, climbing over and getting to the other side. "How about this, help her up, and I'll help her down? Then we can repeat with Dan." He said from the other side. "Okay." You responded. Arin helped you over while Ross caught you as you hopped down. Then Arin hopped over while Barry helped Danny over, Arin helping him down. But as Barry was getting over, we heard the back door open again. "Uh, we have company.." Barry said jumping over. You looked through a peep hole and saw your father.
"(Y/N)~ where are you?" He said, poking around with his gun.
Arin got into his car and started it. "Come on! He thinks only Barry got over! We can still escape!" He whispered. We all got into the car, and Arin began to drive away.
Looking out the window, in your head, you wished your old home and family goodbye.
