Chapter 14: The Fight

As I started to calm down, I bumped into the devil himself. "HEY!! IT'S THE PRETTY NEKO-CHAN!! MEEEW!!" Tobi yelled and picked me up, then I felt like I was being spun around. My eyes rolled around, and suddenly I was in Leader's office. "TOBI'S A GOOD BOY! TOBI GOT THE PRETTY NEKO-CHAN!!" I jumped off of him, and stood infront of the Leaders desk, not too pleased.

I put my hands on my hips and glared at his purple eyes. "What." I seethed. Leader was about ready to say something, but loud mouth Tobi screamed, "HOW OLD IS THE PRETTY NEKO?!" I blinked and stared at him like he was an idiot. Which, he is, incase if you haven't noticed by now. "I'm 14, Tobi." I heard Leader snicker. I glared at him as Tobi continued. "OOOH!! THAT MEANS NEKO-CHAN HAS TO CALL TOBI, 'SENPAI'!! TOBI IS 19!!" he yelled, ran around flailing his arms, then just left.

"...Really?.." I snickered. "I can't tell, you act like a 4 year old who just ate 3 pounds of chocloate." Leader snickered, then I turned back to him to listen to his speech. "I have finally decided your team, as I thought you might be pleased to know I spared you and did not put you on Tobi's team, not matter how much he begged..." he grinned and stared at me."You are on Deidara and Sasori's team. You'll be bunking in their room, and you'll go on missions with them."

I jumped for joy, then realized Deidara.. 'Deidara..' I thought back to the kiss on the cheek he gave me. I looked at Leader when he waved me off. I walked out of the door. "Oh, Kuro. One more thing." I stopped and turned around, looking at Leader, and Konan now standing beside him. "Yes, Leader-Senpai?" She gave me a dark death glare, and Leader snickered from my modesty. "How's Itachi doing?" I held back a glare, and smiled just to annoy both of them.

"We're good, actually." I said smartly. I walked out, only to get pulled back in and shoved into a wall. "You know, you really are annoyong, aren't you?" Leader said quietly. I smirked and nodded. He let me go and growled, sitting back at his desk. "Smartass.." he muttered. I smirked. "Will that be all, Leader-Senpai?" He paused. "Call me Pein." I nodded. "Will that be all?" I bowed and smirked at Konan. "GO!!" his voiced boomed and I laughed, and shut the door behind me.

I giggled, walking down the hallway, going to the Art room that Deidara and Sasori had showed me the other day. I noticed Kakazu, staring at me, and pointed his finger at me. "You." he said, darkly. I blinked and looked around, only to see me and him. I walked to him and he stared down at me. "Yes, Kakazu-Senpai?" I looked up at him, blankly. "You're coming with me and Hidan later to get the groceries for dinner, and the rest of the week." "I am?" "Yes, Smartass. You are." "Why me?" I frowned. He snickered. "Because you're the newbie, and Tobi is annoying as hell." I rolled my eyes and stepped besides him. "Whatever. Come and find me when your ready." I walked away and went into the Art room, creeping in quietly.

I heard Deidara and Sasori talking. "I.. I screwed up our friendship.. I never should've done that..Hmm.." Deidara sounded, really upset about thay. I frowned and continued listening. "It's okay, Deidara.. I'm sure she'll forgive you, and nothing will change." Sasori said. I smiled and blushed alittle. 'He's trying to make him feel better.. So cute..' "Y-You think s-she'll forgive me?" Deidara stuttered. I grinned and bursted into the room and tackle-hugged both of them. "Of course I will!!!! Silly Dei-Senpai!! I knew it was only to prove something to me, and I'm sorry for asking the forbidden question. I shall never ask it again!!" I said, then taking a heroic pose.

Sasori snickered at me and Deidara clung onto me, rubbing his cheek onto mine saying, "I'm sooo sorry, Hmmm!!!! I promise It won't happen again, Hmmmmm!!" I just smiled at him and petted his head. "There, there. I said it was alright, now.." I brushed off a little tear on his cheek and grinned. "Guess what!!" He stood up and helped me. "What." Sasori said, playing along. I then frowned and looked down. "I got my team today." "Oh, no... You didn't get Tobi, did you?!?Hmm?!?" Deidara said, feeling sorry for me. I looked away. "N-No..." They both looked confused. "Then who'd you get? Hm." I put my finger on my cheek and looked up at the ceiling. "Hmm.. I got 2 people, very nice, and they're my friends in here. One says, "Hm" after every sentence, and the other one likes to call me "Brat"." I grinned, waiting for their reaction. Deidara put his hand up, and smiled, then after awhile he frowned and stared at me.
