Chapter Nine - Hook, line and sinker.

"Don't mention this to anyone." Katrena mumbled into my shirt, as she tightened her grip around my waist snuggling closer to me.
"As you wish, Kitty." I whispered as I gently pressed a light kiss on her head, she smelt like strawberries as usual.
I missed this. I missed us.
I may sound like some dude whose whipped, but I fell hook, line and sinker the moment I laid eyes on Katrena, again. If possible I fell for her even, harder. I couldn't believe she was back and the thought of her leaving me again killed me. I knew that she didn't have any memories of us together since the accident, but I did.
Memory:
"Anything else, mom?" I asked her as I hopped out of the car, ready to head into the cafe.
"No, that'll be all honey. I'll be in the pharmacy, just gotta quickly grab something." She said as she walked across the road to the chemist.
I stepped into the chemist hearing the door chime as I walked in a bunch of girls who were closest to me were giving me flirty winks, twirling their hair and batting their lashes. I smirked at them and continued making my way up to the counter.
They never appealed to me, those kind of girls who seeked attention. Craved my attention. But they were nothing more than a toy for me to play with to pass the time, till something or someone else caught my eye.
"Morning son, the usual?" Mr Bentley asked me, knowing the order that I always came here for was only for my mom. I didn't buy anything here for myself, since it was a quick get in and get out mission.
I nodded to him, and walked over to the usual booth that I would sit at but it was currently occupied. I stood there in front of the girl sitting in MY seat. Her dark brown hair was in a messy ponytail with a few wisps in her mouth, her glasses were barely hanging onto her face. With a couple of books open and scattered on the coffee table. She looked peaceful with her head laying on one of the books. Your typical goodie two shoes.
She reminded me of a cat, enjoying the warm rays of the sun taking advantage of the weather by taking a good ol' nap.
But me being the guy I am, I couldn't help but want to see what the colour of her eyes were, her personality. Was she timid? Shy? Or was she one of those secret fire crackers that would blow up unexpectedly?
I nudged her foot to wake her up, I kicked her foot a little harder this time. But she didn't budge.
"You should probably let her sleep, if you want to keep those legs of your still intact Mr. Trackstar." I heard a voice pop up behind me, I turned my head to the side to see a blonde haired girl I recognised as Konrad Johnsons' little sister Samantha or something.
I nodded at her then looked back at Miss Goodie two shoes. "Whats her name?" I asked a minute of silence nodding my head to the sleeping beauty oblivious to the world around her.
"Why do you want to know?" She answered my question with another question.
I looked back at her, she was definitely stunning. But she was the typical blonde-haired blue eyed doll that would no doubt make the cheerleading squad in High school.
I shrugged my shoulders, turning my head to see if my moms Cappucino was ready as well as the dozen of specially made donuts for her.
"I'm Savanna, and this monkey over here sleeping is my best friend Katrena or preferably named Kat." She spoke up after staring at her friend with a small smile.
