Chapter Thirteen - If only you knew

I stared into his blue eyes before asking him a question that had been bothering me since the day we met.

"Who are you Alec Knox? Who are you to me? Because to be frankly honest with you, you make me feel a whole bunch of things. One minute I feel like I want to punch the day lights out of you when you call me Kitty, the next I want to....I want..." I stumbled over my words trying to figure out what the heck I wanted from him.

A relationship?

A friend?

Angel face looked up at me with a grin on his face that had my heart pumping the blood around my body in overdrive, I knew for a fact I was blushing over my little confession but as well as the fact that his grin tended to fry my brain and throw all sense out the window.

"What do you want from me Kat?" He asked me his eyes looking directly into my own with such intensity that I had to blink a bit and stop myself from getting stuck in a trance once again.

I looked down at the ground kicking the little stones on the footpath as a frown made its way onto my face as I tried to choose the right words, without making myself sound like fool. After a minute of losing myself to the chaotic thoughts that run in my head I looked up at him and answered.

"I want to not hate you. I want to trust you but I feel like you're hiding something from me, and I know how hypocritical that sounds since you don't know anything about me yourself. Do I know you? Do you know me? Have we met before or something? That could be a good explanation to some unanswered questions. Oh maybe we were friends? Yeah. We're we friends?" I nodded my head as if the words that came out of my own mouth made sense, although inside I was hitting my head against the wall at the assumption that we were ever friends.

He gave me a sad smile before hopping onto his motorcycle, holding a helmet out towards me.

"No, I want you to answer me now, or else I won't go with you." I said sternly standing up straighter trying to look more put together than what I looked like a few minutes ago after that horrible word vomit.

All he did was stare at my face for a few seconds look away then repeat, it went like this for five whole minutes till I decided to just walk away and head back in class before school started.

I looked over my shoulder to see him frowning in deep thought as he looked down at the helmet he was still holding in his hands, his jaw clenched.

Swoon.

"You know where I live, so when you have an answer for me....But not anytime after 8, I'm usually busy."

I carried on walking not waiting for a head nod or confirmation that he heard me, as I made my way back to the same class he pulled me out of. I opened the door and was greeted by a twerking Ricky who was fortunately for me facing away from me so I quickly slipped out my phone from my back pocket and record this 'Golden' moment, I couldn't hold my laugh any longer after Casanova started beat boxing some random tune that sounds really familiar to Anaconda by Nicki Minaj while Ricky started to shaking his hips to the beat adding a twerk here and there.

They immediately stopped and turned around looking at me there eyes wide open in horror as I shook my phone in front of me.

"This is good shit! Thanks boys, for making my day." I snickered at Rickys lame attempt to run up the stairs to me but instead tripped over and fell on his face groaning at the pain that the fall caused.

"Kat! Gurgh, dele-delete it...oh shit I think I broke my nose."

Casanova was no better, he was like a little popper jack standing up and then sitting down on the seat as if he couldn't make his mind up on what to do. Risk trying to get a hold of my phone and delete the video that I was most definitely going to save for Black mail when the time came for me to use it.

I shook my head and walked back to my seat where my bag was I picked up the cap that I had left on the table and lifted it up to find a little piece of paper with a scribble on it. Bailey, the girl that I had saved and Alec's sister although the resemblance isn't clear at all, she left me her number with a little message.

Call me if you ever need to talk.

-Bailey x

I smiled at her cute little message, and tucked the note in my back pocket as I slipped on the cap backwards, folding my arms in front of me as I pushed my chair back so I could put my feet up and get in a little nap before everyone started filing in and taking a seat.

The classroom door opened and I looked to my side to see Alec walking in with a frown on his face still etched on his pretty face, he looked over at me the hard look on his face softening as he held my gaze none of us daring to look away, but Ricky being Ricky had to go and open his mouth.

"Oh I see." He spoke up with a mischievious grin on his face as he looked between me and 'Angel Face', Casanova walked over to Ricky throwing his arm over his shoulder and whispering something in his ear before making Ricky chuckle and look back at us.

"Well do go on, Ricky. What have you discovered today?" I asked him.

"I see there is something going on between you and my boy Alec. Now I'm going to ask who made the first move?" Ricky asked, making me snort at his assumption that 'Angel Face' and I shared a moment.

Because which moment are you asking for Ricky, we had plenty. Though they haven't yet led to anything they will once you butt out.

'Angel Face' looked at me with a hurt expression on his face, but quickly covered it up as soon as it came with a smirk.

Boy, there ain't going to be an 'us' until you give me answers.

"First move? Which one could it be, Kitty? We've had plenty of 'Firsts' together, haven't we.
