Problems With Friends

I ran home after Jamie asked to come but I still said no. I heard quick pace footsteps and saw Jamie running after me. "MORRIGAN WAIT!!!" I heard Jamie call to me but I didn't stop. I heard another cracking of leaves and twigs and looked around once more to see Wolf running after us. He passed Jamie and started to get closer to me. As soon he was next to me I jumped onto his back and he sped off towards home.

He slid to a stop as we reached the backdoor of my house. I slid off slid off his back and gave him a quick hug then ran inside. I closed the door and peaked out the window that was near the door to see Wolf run off and no one else behind him. I sighed and backed away from the window. I decided to go to my room but as I turned around I bumped into Dark. "Hey...Dark! What's up?" I said trying to keep calm "Good. How about you?" he said completely straight-faced. "I just came back to get something and I'm going back out." I said and he looked at me "Ok be safe" he said then walked away. I gave a out a long sigh and looked back out the window and saw no body. I opened the door and to make sure I wasn't seen I climbed behind the bushes and followed beside the trail. I finally thought I was good so I got onto the real trail and took the way to the lake.

I walked out into the sick that was there and looked out to the horizon. I smiled and messed with the necklace around my neck. I got it from Dark a while back and he told me to never take it off so I never did. As I was sitting there someone splashed me so I looked up to see the merman from before. "Hello" I said and he poked out from under the water "umm do you talk?" I asked and he came up so the water was to his shoulders. "You remind me of a guy named Mark, you know." I said while looking at him. He must have been a Iplier cause he looked so familiar. "M..Merk?" He said and I jumped "uh, yea Mark.." I repeated "Merk" he said once more but louder. "No it's Mark" I told him "Merk?" I just stared at him and he just smiled. "Do you want me to call you Merk?" I asked and he just smiled. "Um ok I'll just call you Merk." i said and he went under the water. I watched and then he jumped out of the water and onto the dock next to me. "Woah...cool!" I exclaimed and he gave me  a wider smile then before. "So Merk can you talk" I asked him then he looked down slyly "you don't need to be shy towards me I don't judge and I'm not really mean either" I said and placed a hand on his shoulder. He smiled and looked up at me the looked at the water. "You can go swim I'm not stopping you" I told him  and he smiled then went back in the water. I smiled and noticed acrossed the water I saw Wolf in his wolf form walking along the side of the lake. I didn't want to shout to grab anyone's attention so I waved. I saw  surprisingly he noticed and looked over and then disappeared into the bushes. I shrugged and watched as Merk swim under the water. "Why are you out here?" I looked up to see, the human, Wolf sitting down next to me. "I don't know. I just wanted to be outside and wanted to be alone...till you came." I explained to him. " But he's here." he said and pointed at Merk "well he came out of nowhere and I just didn't pay much attention to him" I slightly lied. "Mhmm. Well you wanna go to my cave? That's where I was just headed to." he said and I leaned onto him a little and thought about it. "Sure" I replied to him and I got up along with him and walked across the grass right behind Wolf. I looked down at my feet then rather looking up cause I didn't feel like I would actually belong at the school as well as being one of the best-est friends to Jamie and getting her in trouble or something, maybe something worse. I tried to shake the thought out of my head before depressive thoughts came to mind which would make me feel even worse. When I finally looked up Wolf was gone and I was completely lost. I looked around and tried to catch any small glimpse of him or anyone but I had to have no luck at that. "You need help?" I heard someone say which sounded familiar so I looked around to see who said it but I had no luck in that search. "Look at the tree" it said and I looked at the closest tree and saw there was an outline but I thought it was my shadow. "I'm crazy now aren't I?"I said out loud and then I looked around the back at the shadow. Then it seemed to change from two dimensional to three and then grey smoke came off of it until I saw it was actually Shadow himself. "Should have know you" I said and looked around"You can go straight that eat and you'll arrive  home I'll tell Wolf I helped you home." he said and I nodded"Ok I was feeling tired I need to get some sleep after being out here and sneaking around" I said and he picked me up "What are you doing?" I asked and he smiled at me. "Well if you are gonna fall asleep on the way that will be bad why don't I just carry you instead ok." he said and I just rolled my eyes at him "Fine you win I think I could make it only if..." I said but then remembered I'm stupid and got lost in the woods. "I know your lost so let me help you" he said and I glared at him for a bit then smiled "I said you won ok you can bring me home now!" I said and all Shadow did was laugh and he began walking me home in his arms.
